Warwick Farm Race 2 – Silver Wedding

Nice debut by this Zoustar filly, hitting the line strongly down the outside over 1100m to grab third. She didn't appear all that comfortable in the conditions but really hit her straps late to catch the eye and get within 1.5 lengths of the winner.  She's a very nicely bred filly, out of Summer Sham (Not A Single Doubt) who won the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes in 2018. Tipping Silver Wedding gets over more ground than this and can turn into a nice filly.

Doomben Race 5 – Payline

Another dominant win by this three-year-old gelding who ran to 82 on the R&S scale two starts ago when winning his maiden impressively at Sunshine Coast, leading throughout over 1000m. He showed good versatility here to take a sit just behind the speed and the result was the same, having to force his way through a gap in the straight and putting the result to bed in a couple of strides. He's improved his rating substantially again here and can continue to win through the grades.
