RACE 1 - Cannot rule any of the eight runners out. HOLLYWOOD HERO (1) started in the red and looked the winner when he hit the front at the top of the lane but didn't finish off last start over this course and distance. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and gets his chance to atone. OWARI (8) won first-up at Kembla then worked over from a wide alley to race handy but found nothing last time out over the mile at Newcastle. Gets some nice weight relief today and Schiller back aboard is significant - he is 2/3 on this four-year-old. STAND ASIDE (9) led all the way and was impressive first-up at Warwick Farm. Much harder here but should give some cheek. BALTIC COAST (2) faces his easiest assignment this prep and can turn things around. CHEVRON (5) is racing through the grades nicely this prep and is capable of chalking up the hat trick here.

RACE 2 - This is more like a provincial or even country maiden. With that in mind SUPER ZIPPI (7) brings the best form to the table with a couple of placings at Wyong and Hawkesbury recently. Sat handy and didn't shirk the task over this trip last time. Looks a bit better than most of these on that performance and is a great chance to open the account. VELOCE ROSA (8) worked home well but found one better on debut last start over 1000m at Wagga. Should be hard to hold out over this slightly longer trip. Bjorn Baker's first starter NOTHIN' SEEMSTOFIT (4) has been to the trials plenty of times. Respect any market moves. ERAANTYVA (2) on debut for Waller/McDonald won't need to be a world beater to be competitive in this field. HOT JIVE (3) disappointed at a short quote first-up at Wellington but can improve.

RACE 3 - LADY ZODIAC (15) led and wasn't beaten far on debut over this distance at the Kensington track then found the Percy Sykes way out of her league last start. Back in this grade she is sure to give a tremendous sight. TOQUE (9) has not appeared since finishing a distant third on debut in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic over today's trip back in December. Looks ready to run with a couple of recent trials under the belt. LUNE D'EXCELLENCE (12) is a Kris Lees first starter by Puissance De Lune from an Exceed And Excel mare who has produced four winners from as many foals, including Petits Filous at Group 3 level. Trialling well and is sure to have admirers. BRONCO REVOLUTION (7) resumes. Debuted with a close third here at this trip in January. In the mix with a repeat performance. Recent trial winner PRIVATE LIFE (5) on debut for Waller is early favourite and must be respected.

RACE 4 - BALMIERRO (7) has worked home evenly without posing a threat in his two runs this prep, the latest here in a comparable maiden. Suited by the small field and he strips fitter today. Gets his chance. UK import KINGS VALLEY (1) made late ground to get up for third in his Australian debut over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Should enjoy a lovely run from this draw so it will be no surprise to see him go a couple better. PHYSICIST (2) caught the eye in the concluding stages on debut recently over 1350m at Wyong. Will be hard to hold out over the extra furlong. KOTAISHI (3) beat some of today's main rivals home in a maiden here two weeks back. Must be included. GLEBE (6) should settle closer to the speed today and at the third run back she can improve sharply.

RACE 5 - THE INSTRUCTOR (1) resumed in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint at Randwick during the Championships and was outclassed. Ran some nice races last prep in stakes company. Has the quality to shoulder the big weight and take this out. BALKANS (9) overcame an awkward start to just miss last time out in a BM72 here at this distance. Cherry-ripe after four runs back and drops 2kgs. Ready to win. WOLVES (10) closed well to just get home over 1200m at Kembla recently, the second win in the past four starts. Up in grade but drops 5kgs and won't spend a penny from the inside alley. AVEBURY (3) returns from a seven-month spell. Will improve on what she does today but at her best she is a match for these. MARS MISSION (2) resumes. Goes well when fresh and his Saturday form from last prep reads well.

RACE 6 - There looks to be plenty of value around the favourite. CONFESS OUR DREAMS (3) suffered her first defeat last time out when down the track in the Listed Fireball over this distance at Randwick on 9 March. Won a recent trial here over a handy mare. Freshened up and looks a big chance back in her right grade. MONTE KATE (15) found 1000m a bit sharp when fresh from a one-month let-up at Kembla last start. Capable of a better run at huge odds despite the step up in class. GOLD LOVER (12) is ticking over nicely this prep. Game in defeat at Scone last time and this slightly longer journey will suit. Certainly worth a throw at the stumps at a big price. WAIKIKI (10) has been in the placings at seven of eight runs over today's trip. Good each-way prospect. SPRING LEE (8) returns from a spell. Bolted in at Kembla over 1000m when resuming last prep. Comes up pretty short in early betting and is sure to play a big role.

RACE 7 - Very open race despite all the scratchings. CINEMATIC STAR (18) has been hard to fault this prep, winning her last two including a soft victory over 1000m at Kembla last start. On trial at this distance but trust the Maher stable has pulled the right rein. PHYSICAL GRAFFITI (7) is a lightly raced three-year-old who bolted in first-up from an 18-month lay-off at Gosford then disappointed at Kembla last time over this trip. The big win after a lengthy spell may have flattened him on that occasion. Worth another chance with McDonald taking over. BAT OUT OF HELL (8) is back from an 11-week break and has transferred from Ciaron Maher to Bjorn Baker. Trialling well so must be respected out of the inside gate. BANGETTA (15) has not raced for 15 weeks but is a strong first-up performer drawn to enjoy a lovely run. YANKEE ONE (14) resumes. Showed ability when last in work. Scratched from an earlier race to be kept for this.

RACE 8 - YET HE MOVES (5) did his best work late to get up for second when resuming from a four-month spell over the mile at Gosford last start. Ideally placed out to this distance at the second run of the campaign. McDonald gets the run of the race from gate two, so his credentials are hard to fault. Stablemate SPEYCASTER (2) could be the danger with a couple of runs now under the belt this prep. Snagged back from a wide draw before making some ground last time over this course and distance. Draws a lot better today so he gets his chance. SMART LEGEND (4) is racing well without winning. Just failed in a thriller here at this distance a fortnight ago. On-pacer who will be prominent for a long way. ALLHALLOWTIDE (6) disappointed last start at Newcastle when fresh from a 39-day let-up. Sure to improve following that outing. VAIN INVADER (8) is good enough if at his best and he does race well at Canterbury.
