FLAME TREE STAR (1) promising filly who scored a tough maiden victory over 1006m at this track at the latest. Up sharply in weight but has the upside to win again. ZEPHYRZ ZOOM (11) backs up quickly and drops in grade after disappointing when eighth over 1350m at Doomben on April 17. Tongue-tie comes off and will find this more to her liking.

RACE 2 - SPIRITCHASER (1) Matt Dunn-trained mare resuming after a break of five-and-a-half months. Showed her ability on the provincial circuit last time in and has since been fitted with two sharp trials. Has the figures to take this out first-up from the good draw. MORE ELEMENTS (5) is another from the Matt Dunn yard resuming. Showed potential last time in and looks forward enough for this with two 1050m trials under his belt. Expected to sprint well fresh. CARBROOK (2) six-start maiden with his hoof on the till. Anchored with the big weight when ran on late to finish fourth over 1030m here on April 9. Claim helps and will need a bit of luck from the gate. WEE KAHUNA (11) showed ability last time in and resumes today from the good draw. Finished fourth in a recent 946m trial at Grafton on April 14. Can play a leading role.

RACE 3 - BETTER THAN BOOZE (3) racing well in stronger company and has a good record at this track and trip. Six weeks between runs when faded late to finish fifth over 1050m at the Gold Coast Poly on April 13. Fitter now and has the figures to return to winning form. BOAMBEE BEACH (7) promising filly building a nice winning record. Relished the heavy (8) going when a slick 0.8 len winner over 1100m at Toowoomba on April 6. Goes well here and can continue on her winning ways. EGOTISTIC (12) both wins have come at this trip and at her peak now third-up. Found the line strongly when a long neck winner over 1000m at Casino on April 13. Can play a leading role again. WHERE'S THE FIRE (2) relished the heavy (8) going when came from last on the turn for a tough 0.6 len win over 1000m at Muswellbrook on April 21. Can figure in the top-three here.

RACE 4 - IDEEL HERO (4) races best with his runs spaced and placed at both attempts over this trip. Looks due for a change of luck after finishing third over 2200m at this track last time out. No excuses today. ROTHESAY'S RUBY (11) has a good record over this course and distance and indicated a win was imminent when a gritty head second over 1735m at this track on April 9. Desperate fort his trip now and expected to go close. OTTOMAN EMPIRE (5) two runs back have been full of merit and expected to go close with the claim. Returned good final figures when a slick fourth over 1735m at this track on April 9. Has the ability to finish over the top of these. PRINCETON AWARD (1) solid return two back before failing to get into the contest at the latest when 13th over 1805m at Eagle Farm on April 20. On the quick turnaround and this is much weaker. Don't dismiss.

RACE 5 - WHISKEY TOWER (14) failed to get into the contest on debut before turning it around sharply when a sound 1.1 len fourth over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast on April 12. A repeat of the latest should see her play a leading role today. TURPIN'S TORMENT (4) 16-start maiden who looks close to shedding his maiden status. Loomed strongly when a narrow second over 1600m at Tamworth on April 8. Has the figures to go one better today with the senior rider engaged. Placed this trip three back and stays in the mix.

Luke Rolls sticks and is expected to take a hand in the finish. SHERRIFF CODY (13) returned to winning form with the claim when a gritty head winner over 1690m at Ipswich on April 24. Must be kept safe on the very quick backup. AMBRIDGE (12) was forced to work hard from the wide draw when a dismal ninth over 1410m at this track. Trip suits and can sneak into the minor money.

RACE 8 - MANIC LIGHT (9) created a big impression at start eight when a gutsy maiden victory over 1106m here on April 14. Strips even fitter now and can make it two-in-a-row with the drop in weight. WATCHGUARD (5) kept fresh for this after tiring sharply when eighth over 1175m at this track on March 7. Since fitted with a recent trial placing over the 946m here on April 14. A repeat of debut victory four back can see him return to form. PICUPSTIXX (2) was beaten for early speed on debut when drifted back before finishing over the top of them late to score a comfortable win over 1025m at this track four weeks ago. Sure to be strong again from the sticky draw. ECHO SUNSHINE (10) tough return when travelled on the pace for a narrow second over 1000m at Casino on April 13. Goes well second-up and the drop in weight suits.

RACE 9 - BERTINELLI (4) big improver at the second run back when closed off strongly to secure second over 1030m at this track on April 9. Fitter now and gets the tongue-tie on for this. Go close. Goes just well second-up and has a handy record at this track. CABSAV (11) best form is over this course and distance, and he should relish the genuine tempo today. Rattled late from the wide gate when a narrow third over this track and trip at the latest. Sure to go close again. BUFFET BUSTER (7) solid return at big odds when a fast-finishing head winner over 1181m at this track on April 14. Looker keeps the ride and watch for him swooping late again.
