RACE 1 - RICH GLOW (1) resumes and is a former Victorian who wins this at best. Draws low and brings two sharp Longford trials. Looks ready to go. BLUFF POINT (4) resumes and has also switched from a Victorian barn. May need one but has the first-time blinkers applied and is good enough to keep safe. GIE IT LALDY (5) resumed in good order at Launceston and can build on that. I'VE BEEN DREAMING (10) has a wide gate but has trialled well for her debut and is in good hands.

RACE 2 - MILTON (4) is better than the recent form suggests. Finally draws an inside gate which he's likely to use. On a 7-day return and giving him another chance. SHAKEEDA (8) has had one blip in a string of decent efforts in tougher grade. Comes back to the mile and has been kept on the fresh side. Maps for the run of the race and she gets another chance. GEE GEE TYCOON (9) has the blinkers applied and they may sharpen her up. First time over a mile and should be around the mark. FOREIGN LEGION (2) peaks and will go better from a handier gate. Peaks and gives every indication the mile will suit.

RACE 3 - GEEGEES CITY BOY (1) has returned further improved and will be fitter again. Has placed here and is on a quick backup. Needs a good ride but is the one to beat. IBUTHO (2) is building nicely and gets Newitt who replaces the apprentice. Comes back 250m but is good enough to manage. POP A HONDA (4) resumes and races well on this synthetic track. Uses the low gate and is good enough. May be presented more forward this time around. ES AND ES (3) resumes and has claims if presented on song. Gives away starts so the rails gate is a niggle.

RACE 4 - BARMAID GIRL (4) resumes and this is winnable if she's presented forward. She's trialled well and Newitt is a key jockey booking. Has a handy gate and goes well here. Finds the right race. ZIPITUP (2) brought strong form from Victoria and was narrowly beaten at Launceston. Races forward and has won on an all-weather track. Deserves another win and gets his chance. SHIM (7) has the ability and was quickly back on track at Launceston. Drops back to a shorter sprint but has a low barrier and keeps the handy 3kg claim. RING OF HONOUR (1) resumes and goes fresh and enjoys the track. Finally draws a low gate and keep safe.

RACE 5 - HEWIE (9) resumed over the mile with a narrow defeat and was never in the hunt stepping up to a middle distance. Will be better for that and Byrne Burke is reunited. His best figure was recorded here over this trip and he should go close. CLIFTON DANSEUR (2) is a leader and had been threatening before delivering the easy 70 win at Launceston over a middle distance. Gets more weight in this grade but on a 7-day return is a decent chance to repeat. SUGOI LEGEND (4) resumed over 1400m with a solid effort. He goes well here and has more to give. Should run it out using an inside gate. MIGHTYMAXI (6) is back in distance but can build on the comfortable CL1 win at Launceston. Keeps the 3kg claim and races handy.

RACE 6 - MUSCLE UP (1) is a leader who was quickly back on track narrowly beaten at Launceston in stronger grade. Has the handy 3kg claim today and races well here. Rates to go one better. GEEGEES MISTY (10) improved again winning the 60 at Launceston. Fitter again and will get every chance from the inside alley. SH'BOURNE REBEL (2) resumes owning a trial win here. Will race over further but goes well this track/trip and has a handy barrier. Finds easier and the 3kg claim brings him into it. WELDBOROUGH (9) just missed in a 60 at Launceston and has more to give. Peaks now and also deserves consideration.

RACE 7 - BANKROLLBENNY (2) runs along and won at Launceston before going back there beaten a whisker. Keeps Newitt and will ride the speed again. He can bounce back. DASH IT (10) is a former SA galloper better for the two Tasmanian runs. She improved at the latest and the rails-gate is there to use. No surprise to see her go a lot better. Stablemate O'REILLY MCLUKE (1) is third-up and has more to give. Carr goes on and will position the gelding forward. A chance. FLIGHT READY (6) just missed at Hobart in a return to form. Will enjoy a soft run and can go on with it now.
