RACE 1 - LIPS DON'T LIE (6) ran a couple of good races last spring when trained in South Australia and resumed with a solid run for eighth at Ascot nearly 3 weeks ago. She will find it easier in the country and with the expected improvement second-up, she is the one to beat. VALAGO (2) might have found 1400 metres beyond him here last time out and is better suited to the shorter trips for now. He will be peaking third up and this field is not strong at all. He has a good draw and can figure in the finish this time. SONIC RULER (11) finished just in front of the top pick in the same race at Ascot last start. She has a handy gate and is worth including in all combinations. MARTOS COB (3) came to the end of his run at the distance last time out at York and will strip a lot fitter second-up. He is one of many first four chances in a race that lacks any real depth.

RACE 2 - SCENERY (2) put in a big run for second fresh up at Belmont earlier in the year and has not been too bad in 3 subsequent efforts without all the luck in the world. He will find things easier in the country and will relish the step up to a mile. This is the right race for him and he is overdue for his first victory. MYSTERY BULLET (6) is a stablemate of the top pick who has resumed with a couple of tough runs for fourth to open this campaign on both of the Pinjarra courses. He will appreciate the extra furlong and will also be spot-on with his fitness third up. Hard to beat from a handy gate. LE GRAND JEU (3) ran his best race this prep when resuming for second at York. He is back at that level here and can bounce back into the money. Each-way value. STRUCK BY LUCK (5) has the blinkers on last start and ran the race of an improver when finishing runner-up here 10 days ago. He is drawn to lead early on and could take them all of the way this time.

RACE 3 - MAKE MINE SUPER (4) capped off some improving country form for his new trainer with a deserved maiden victory here 10 days ago. The manner in which he found the line that day was encouraging and he should have no problem with this grade either. Go again. THE CHIEF JUSTICE (3) was a winner second up early in his last campaign at York and his recent spell would have done him the world of good. He has had a couple of trials at Belmont to help get ready and from a good gate, he will be among the hardest to beat. PURE DYNAMITE (5) is normally competitive at this level and had no luck from a wide gate here a month ago. He has a better draw this time and will be ready now third up, to put his best hoof forward. RISING COMMODITY (6) did not get into the race when resuming at York just over a fortnight ago and being held up at a vital stage was no help either that day. She usually improves with racing and is worth another chance in this at some each-way value.

RACE 4 - GOLDEN FIGHTER (5) has been racing well at Ascot in his last 3 starts which included a win and before that, he won on this track by a short-head. He looks very well placed back on this deck with only 55.5 kilos to carry and he has also not missed a cheque in 5 runs over the trip. Hard to beat from a very good draw. DEFENDING (2) had been racing his way back to full fitness and put it all together when winning here by a nose last time out 10 days ago. He drops back 100 metres but can still have the last say. Go again. BOMBAY STYLE (1) got too far back in the running of a wide gate last start and it is an effort that is best overlooked. He can settle a lot closer to the speed early on here from a superior gate and with 7 wins already on his home track, he has to be respected. Each-way value. ARABIAN RICHES (3) is a tough local veteran who almost exclusively races on this track. He has been thereabouts lately and can never be ruled out of a first four placing. Include in all multiples.

RACE 5 - IDENTIFIER (5) has improved since making the move to a country trainer at the start of the year and has finished a couple of solid thirds since clearing his maiden status fresh up at the start of March. He was only a short-head back from the winner last time out and won't have to improve by much to be the winner in this. SAFE HUSTLE (1) put in a poor run by his standards last start but did have a tougher run than usual and can be forgiven that effort. He was at the improving stage of his prep before that and is worth another chance. QUEEN TIFFANY (3) is another who failed to fire in the same race as the second pick but did get too far early on from a wide gate that day. She was only beaten by a head on this track before that and is another who can bounce back into the money here. FROST DAVID (2) had to work too hard to find the front last start and faded out in the home stretch. His recent freshen-up would have done him no harm and from the ace draw here, he can figure in the finish.

RACE 6 - JURUENA GOLD (2) has been mixing his form this prep and ran one of his better races when finishing runner-up here 10 days ago, just over a length from the winner. He has 3 placings over the trip and can open up his win account here in this. MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (6) won a brace here earlier in the year and her recent 2 misses have been in far stronger company. She is nicely placed at this level and has a nice draw upgrade from her last run here 10 days ago. The extra furlong is ideal and she is capable of taking it out. STAY ASTERN (4) may have found 1900 metres a touch too far for him last time out on this track. He is better off over a mile and is worth including in all combinations. BAYHARA (5) flew home to win here by a short-head in her penultimate run before finishing a brave runner-up here as favourite last start. She has hit her straps lately and can make an immediate return to the winners' circle here.

RACE 7 - WELL PLAYED (3) has thrived since joining a local county stable and made it 4 wins from 6 starts this prep when completing a hat-trick here by a nose 3 weeks ago. She made all of the running that day and another 2 kilos more in weight, may not be enough to stop her from winning again. SORAIS (4) tends to get back in his races and can produce a big finish if the tempo is genuine, as it was 2 starts back when we saw him score by a head. If he gets a run to suit here then he can have the last say. BUTTERFLYROCK (5) can't be faulted for his consistency in this campaign and he was again in the money last time out, finishing third. He has 2.5 kilos less to carry this time and can finish closer. Each way value. SPIRIT MAN (2) was less than 2 lengths from the winner in a tougher field last time out and before that, he was third at this level. An extra will suit him and another honest effort is on the cards. Include in all combinations.
