RACE 1 - BRAVE SPIRIT (4) brings strong form to resumption with the close-up placing at Ascot the standout. He went close in town when kicking off that campaign and presented in good order he'll have them covered. GOOD SONG (2) resumes and performs fresh. Races forward and can form the quinella. FLICK THE SWITCH (6) resumes and should be presented forward. Can control the race and give a sight. RHAENYA (7) was much sharper here second-up beaten 1.5L and is an improved galloper. Goes in at a big price.

RACE 2 - RUSSIAN SNIPER (6) deserved the win here and then was okay at Ascot after. Gets in light in this grade with a 2kg claim atop. Well placed to bounce back. ROCAPOZZENE (7) is a leader who disappointed two-back at Bunbury but the Albany form around that reads well. She belted a CL5 field here last time and is a chance to repeat. She's sure to give a sight. MORGS FREEMAN (4) won comfortably here this grade three back and was back on track at Ascot 12 days ago when beaten 2.5L over 1400m. Comes back 300m but can't be ruled out. OXBRIDGE (1) is a leader seeking the hat-trick. He's been winning by spaces and is sure to give a sight.

RACE 3 - HOT CHATTER (6) brings a string of near-misses and is holding the form. Looks well-placed in this lineup and deserves another chance. Finds a suitable assignment and is likely to control the race. FRANTIC WAR (2) was heavily backed again but missed a place behind Russian Sniper seeking the hat-trick. Was vet cleared he can bounce back and form the quinella. LONG KNIFE BROTHER (7) turned the form around narrowly beaten behind Sacred Oath at long odds. It was a big effort after settling last from the wide barrier. Has the opportunity to sit closer today from an inside gate and he retains the handy 2kg claim. VONSNIP (4) drops back to a sprint following a 62-day freshen. She will finish it off and may be the one to fill out the first four.

RACE 4 - WARRALEA LASS (10) returns to the mile following a 2.2L defeat in the G3 Oaks over 2400m. Narrowly missed this trip at Belmont prior. Races well here and gets in light under the race conditions. She's good enough to manage the distance drop. SIR BEAR A LOT (2) peaks off two narrow defeats here. Was heavily backed at his latest over 1230m and should appreciate the step up in trip. KAMAKAZI SHOOTER (3) runs along and has been inched out his last two starts He runs the 1600m right out and is also a chance. YAKYAK (7) spiked her figures placing at Kalgoorlie. She will be around the mark.

RACE 5 - GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (2) resumes and has switched from a Victorian barn. He won his Maiden on debut so fresh should be no bother and he's warmed up with two Lark Hill trials. The 2kg claim brings him into it and he certainly has the ability. HOW PRETTY (4) seeks the hat-trick off the win this grade at Geraldton heavily-supported. She won the Maiden here prior and keeps ZJP's 2kg claim. She's in a leading metro barn and will keep improving. GAGE ROADS (1) switched from the sharp Williams barn and resumed here with a solid effort. Is better over further but will be fitter and can't be ruled out. HEEZA BEAU (3) went close here this grade before the spell as an even money favourite. He was heavily backed first-up and didn't get into it after a slow start. He can make quick improvement.

RACE 6 - YES OF COURSE (4) is a leader who was plain here the latest off a win and near miss. That's strong form and prepared to forgive the lapse. He can bounce back. CALL ME VIOLET (2) has had two outings for the Pierce yard and should be ready to show more like her best. A sticky gate needs managing. PUNTERS PILOT (3) had been threatening before breaking Maidens over this distance. McGruddy sticking is a positive and he may go on with it now. FLASH DUCATI (1) has been racing in stronger provincial and city company and is up to this. Well placed with the 2kg claim and no surprise if he turns the form around.

RACE 7 - BEAUTIFUL BAROQUE (9) was quickly back on track easily winning the CL2 over a mile as expected. Narrowly missed at this distance three back and has an inside barrier and weight relief. Can go back-to-back. DOUBLE THUMBS UP (3) just missed two back and found the grade a bit rich his latest. He will be hitting the line hard. FLOPPY (2) brings back-to-back wins and has a handy 2kg claim. This is harder but he'll be around the mark. KNENTII (10) creates interest. Has switched from a Victorian ban on a 35-day return. Was last seen finding a place at Pakenham over a staying trip. Still a Maiden but his figures stack up. The betting will tell plenty.
