RACE 1 - ENERGIZED (7) found the line nicely last start for second over 1000m at Barcaldine, beaten only half length. Looks suited by the longer journey so gets his chance to break through. INREADYNESS (5) finished 0.9 lengths from the winner in third in a much better run last time at Emerald over 1000m. Draws deeper but is expected to be in the finish. DAULAT MACHTIGKUDA (3) produced a better run last start, beaten 2.3 lengths into fourth over 1000m at Barcaldine. Capable of featuring prominently. TWO OF US (11) faded out last time but was racing well before that so is worth another chance.

RACE 2 - MORGAN'S SMILE (3) was a narrow winner at this track two back then missed by just a nose when second at Barcaldine last time. Down in the weights on last run. Going well so has strong claims. COLONEL VON TRAPP (11) showed improvement when a 1.5L second last start at Cloncurry. Nearing peak fitness third up so can play a major role. CLOGS (1) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth at this track two starts back then landed the prize by a nose last time out, beating Morgan's Smile over 1300m at Barcaldine. Could do it again. GOLDIE'S POWER (9) scored a win two back over 1100m at this track then followed up with a minor placing at Barcaldine most recently. Going well and must be included again.

RACE 3 - DIZZY DEVINE (9) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish third when resuming last start over 1000m at Barcaldine, beaten 1.1 lengths. Has raced well when second-up in the past and won his only attempt here. Top chance. WORLD CHARMER (8) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placings then scored over 1200m at Barcaldine last time. Going well and can measure up again. NEW YORK WORLD (4) scored a 1.5 length win over this trip when resuming then followed up with a minor placing at Barcaldine over 1200m nine days ago. Contender. LIEUTENANT (6) races well here including a win two back back so can feature in the finish.

RACE 4 - JUKEBOX LUCY (1) resumes from a spell of 11 months and is having her first outing under new trainer Toni Schofield. Ended last campaign with back-to-back placings and goes well at this distance. Shapes well and a bold showing is expected. LASTING PROMISE (2) lines up for the first time for more than a year but is looking to emulate his win at Toowoomba at the beginning of last prep. Has switched to the Ray Hermann stable. Major player. DEN END (5) has been gelded since a brief maiden campaign where he won on debut. Could go through his grades this time in. DIWALI LIGHTS (4) hasn't raced since December 2022 and is now under the care of Kim McGovern. Draws well so watch the market.

RACE 5 - THINK HIGH (4) made it two from two this time in when he scored by 1.8 lengths over 1300m at this track last time. Winning rider J Missen retains the mount. Race fit so can land the the hat trick. VICTORY BAY (7) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back with a win at this track and trip three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Draws to advantage and could go on with the job. KOBE ROCKS (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Charters Towers and steps up to a distance where he is a three-time winner so he is a major player. NO INUENDO (2) has been solid in two runs since a spell so respect.

RACE 6 - WINTILLY (8) is going very well having made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1615m at Emerald, getting home by one length. Back in trip but is proven at this distance. Hard to knock and gets her chance land the hat trick. JERRY ZANDA (1) scored when fresh two runs back then was well supported last time but disappointed. Has raced well third-up in the past and goes well at the track and trip so is capable of better. JET PACK (6) will be fitter for recent racing and draws well so looking for improvement. ENTERPRISE GRAND (2) races well third up so could peak.

RACE 7 - SILENT ANGEL (11) was runner up when resuming two back at Thangool then was only beaten 1.1 lengths last time when fourth at Mackay over 1100m. Races well at this distance and should be ready to peak third up. Top chance. SINNER (6) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 3.4 lengths over 1000m at Cloncurry. Should strip fitter and could go through his grades this time in. SPILL THE DIAMONDS (7) hasn't raced for close to a year but has some decent form including a second two back at Ipswich. Can measure up with her A-game. POWER SISTER (8) was a Barcaldine winner three back and has placed in both outings since, one of them here. Go well.
