RACE 1 - STYLISH LORD (2) wasn't disgraced in Saturday company last time out, beaten just 3.1L in a tougher race than he'll be in today. He's drawn ideally for Parnham and he should be at peak fitness now. Everything points to a forward showing. NEW MUSIC (1) faded badly first-up at Ascot but they did run along through the early and middle stages of the race. Pike hops back in the saddle now after having plenty of success when riding the filly last campaign. Expecting a much-improved effort. SIMPLY THINKIN' (3) went to a new level when winning at Belmont 14 days ago and looks set to run another big race today. She's an improving filly and CJP sticking with her is a positive sign. Wouldn't surprise to see her build on her impressive record already. CABLE ROCK (4) just missed last time out in Maiden company and while this is tougher, he's not without claims on that effort. KING AND QUEEN (5) got the job done last start and can be finishing strongly once more.

RACE 2 - The fifth leg of the National Apprentice Series comes to WA. SNIP'S ROCK (6) ran on strongly from midfield to just miss at Pinjarra last time out and maps for a similar run this time around. ZJP is striking at 14% of late and if the mare can run up to her recent efforts, she'll take plenty of beating. CANGGU (7) bumped into a smart one last start at Belmont and was only passed close to the line beaten 0.3L. He has the pace to offset the draw and he'll take plenty of catching from out in front. ALLEGRO SONATA (3) was 25-1 last time out at Pinjarra but proved too good when holding on for a narrow victory. Drawn well again today, she's expected to be prominent in running once more and with added fitness on her side, she'll be in this for a very long way. WOZZECK (1) was only fair in Saturday company here last time out but is better than that. Sticky alley with his racing pattern but his prior form is good enough to be winning this. TRUEVINSKY (2) can bounce back.

RACE 3 - FOREVER CLASSIC (2) was far too good over this trip at Belmont when running away to score by 2.7L. She does rise in weight for that win, but she did it with ease. Nicely drawn once again and if she can run up tot hat effort then she'll take plenty of beating. DANCE BOSS (3) made an impressive start to his career last campaign when improving with every run. Nice trial coming in an the inside draw can see him sit close in the run. Can make a winning return. SHE'S IMMINENT (4) was very impressive when winning at the end of her last campaign at Northam, bolting in by 2.2L. Will be fitter for a recent trial and it's a good push with Chris Parnham riding. Can make her presence felt on resumption. STAR POWER (7) is looking for the hat-trick and maps for a lovely run with Campbell taking 2kgs off. Can play a role. CAPRE OMNIA (1) was solid on returning and has a good record second-up. Keep safe.

RACE 4 - Another leg of the National Apprentice Series. SOWAR (2) is on the quick turnaround and rises up to 1800m after a 1.6L defeat on Saturday. He's run well at this trip previously and ZJP takes 3 kg off. Racing well and will relish the drop in grade. Can get the job done if he handles the quick back up. GOLD MERITS (5) is better than he showed last time out when beaten by 3.9L. That followed a good effort over the mile last time out. Out to this trip for the first time but her racing pattern suggests it'll be no issue. Can be running over the top of them late. ARNRAY (4) was right out to 1900m second-up and was only caught late in the race. He was big odds there, but he gets leading apprentice Emily Lang on board and a repeat effort will see him hard to beat. LET HER BOOGIE (8) has been competitive around this trip before and maps nicely for Derrick. Won't be far away. CABLE GUY (3) was a fresh winner last campaign and is not to be discounted.

RACE 5 - ARAFISIO (14) failed to finish first-up but bounced back to form with a solid effort over the mile at Belmont 21 days ago. Now slightly back in trip which is a little niggle, but she's drawn well for Derrick and the form out of her last start has been good. Can notch up her maiden win in this. STORMAGEDDON (4) ran on well over the mile at Pinjarra last time out and is likely to get back from the draw once again. CJP remains in the saddle which is a positive sign. He hasn't been far away his past couple and can get the job done. ENDLESS JOY (10) rattled home last time out when beaten 0.8L on the Scarpside at Pinjarra. She draws softer this time and looks to be improving with every run this campaign. Can go a couple better this time without surprising. SCENERY (1) steps out to this trip for the first time but his prior form suggests it's not outside his wheelhouse. Won't be far away. MISS WALL STREET (8) ran well at big odds last start and a repeat effort will see him in the finish.

RACE 6 - MAJOR MARIO (6) ran on well from last position on the Scarpside at Pinjarra first-up and suggested he was in for a good campaign. Improved second-up last campaign and maps for a much better run this time around. Peak figure came over this trip last campaign and a repeat of that will see him back in the winners' stall. CHOIXWAY (3) was only 2.5L away last time out and steps out in trip now fourth-up into the campaign. 2kg's come off for Campbell and he should be prominent from the inside alley. Can play a major role. WESTCOAST EXPRESS (5) was impressive when winning on debut and the form out of the race has already been franked. Expect him to have come on from the debut effort and while this is harder, he does possess good upside. Can make his presence felt. CRIMMO (4) was good first-up over this trip at Belmont and warrants plenty of respect. HUGHBERT (7) won impressively first-up and is not to be discounted.

RACE 7 - TRULY AWESOME (5) wasn't far away over this trip at Belmont a fortnight ago and maps for a similar run in transit once again. Racing well of late and would just have to run up to what he did last time out to be going one better in this suitable assignment. CHERRY CAN RUN (6) hasn't won for a long time but put the writing on the wall last start with a 0.9L defeat at Belmont. The rise in trip is a little niggle, but she boasts a strong third-up record and can turn in another big performance. ALBRIGHT (2) is better than she showed last time when beaten 3.1L over 1200m at Belmont. The rise in trip should suit this daughter of Dundeel who is lightly raced. She still has good upside and is worth following. LADY DUCATI (9) got over the top to win narrowly at Narrogin last time out. This is tougher but she has claims off the last-start figure. NO PEER (7) is much better than she showed last time out and can bounce back.
