RACE 1 - HEIDI HEIDI HO (9) was beaten 1L at Gawler on debut when expected to need it. It was a promising effort and she draws low today and comes off a brief freshen. She will have taken fitness and learning and will be hard to roll. ELECTRA BLUE (3) resumed here and needed the outing. Pannell sticks aboard and the mare showed enough in her initial preparation to suggest this is winnable with the extra fitness. GALLIUM (4) is third-up and has switched barns. May find this a bit short but she drops in grade and is worth keeping safe. NURYS (6) made steady improvement last time out at her second career start to finish second over 1100m at Clare. Progressive type with more to offer.

RACE 2 - Competitive. MY CRACKLING (8) has been knocking on the door and ran his best race at The Bridge last time. Deserves the win and gets another chance. AFRICARN LAD (1) found more like his best form beaten a nose here at this track/trip. Has an awkward barrier but will be fitter and if he's back on track he'll go close. LITTLE CHICAGO (4) was beaten a half-length at Balaklava second-up. Has a handy barrier and a 2kg claim and he can make the finish. THE LAST DANCE (9) showed plenty on debut and then needed the run first up before a solid effort at Gawler. Will be ready to fire but Holder has to manage a wide barrier.

RACE 3 - Competitive. AGRESSIVE BEE (7) runs along and has been narrowly beaten her last two including here as favourite. First try at 1200m and that's a niggle, but she draws handy with a 2kg claim and is on a 7-day return. GEOKAUN (1) finished a lip behind the above at The Bridge and the extra metres shouldn't bother with the extra fitness. The wide gate requires a good ride. HIGH ON SUGAR (5) resumes and showed enough last start to suggest he's a chance. Will be naturally improved and Toeroek is a key jockey booking. Keep very safe. SOODON (3) debuts and profiles well. Draws out but keep safe. UNISPHERE (6) debuts and brings a solid trial from Oakbank. Has a low gate and a 3kg claim. A betting watch as well.

RACE 4 - Tough. FIZIQUE (6) won at this track/trip three back and has been knocking on the door since in stronger class. Was a short-priced favourite here his latest and maps for the run of the race. He can make amends. BELLMAN (1) led when narrowly defeated here in a 60 and then raced favourite 4-days ago in the Streaky Bay Cup and was disappointing. He must be pleasing and the 3kg claim is handy. A bounce is likely back on familiar turf. PLAISIR (4) is a veteran who spiked his figures narrowly beaten here behind Master Of Zerprise at this level. A chance holding that form. EIGHT ON THE DOT (2) is good enough but comes back 1150m from the Adelaide Cup where he was outgraded. His form around this level is good but it's an ask.

RACE 5 - PULAMBI (3) was beaten 2L at Balaklava before the narrow defeat here this grade/trip as a short-priced favourite. Draws the rail again and hard-fit can go one better. MR RODMAN (1) races well here and was last seen 10 days ago beaten 1L at Port Lincoln. He tackles the mile third-up and will likely set a tempo to suit. FIAMETTE (4) came from the back winning the Pulambi race. Was brave in that and draws handier today. A repeat can't be ruled out. LORD TURNBURY (2) was back on track beaten a half-length at Clare over 1800m. He will be around the mark.

RACE 6 - INTO THE LIGHT (9) has been heavily backed all campaign and finally delivered an easy Maiden win at this track/trip from a wide barrier. It was a good effort and she is advantaged today by the rails draw. Peaks and is capable of taking the next step. GARRIRE (3) is fourth-up off a win and a narrow defeat here and has the handy 3kg claim. He will push forward and is the likely danger. CHEROKEE MISS (10) is third-up and has been racing in stronger city races. She has a wide barrier but Toeroek is a key jockey switch. In a top metro barn and it won't surprise to see her in the finish. CLUB PUNTER (4) was cruelled by the wide gate at Murray Bridge but placed the two prior as favourite including a near-miss here. Can secure a soft run and he's a chance as well.

RACE 7 - BELLALIQUE (4) was beaten 1L first-up and hasn't missed a beat. She has more up her sleeve and Toeroek is reunited replacing the 4kg apprentice. With key runners scratched she's the one they have to beat. LUNASHA (9) won her Maiden by a space here first-up and impressed. She will hit the line hard and won't have to improve much to feature. KUBLAI (7) led and won the 56 here by a space when heavily bet and then lifted his figures again when beaten 2.2L at The Parks. Has a small claim and will trail the speed. A bounce isn't out of the question. TWO TIMES TWICE (2) is an improver from a leading barn. May need one more but he has the rail and handy 3kg claim. Possesses ability must be kept safe.
