RACE 1 - DRACO'S FIRE (3) was solid on debut before his narrow defeat at Scone as an equal favourite over 1400m. Fitter again and will prove very hard to beat. SPANISH FOX (7) threatened twice in good races and then was expected to win at Wyong 10 days ago and was disappointing. The blinkers are switched for the winkers and he can get back on track. RAZELLA (10) brings strong form to resumption. She's placed fresh and the rail should advantage. Has two solid trials under the saddle and kicking off over 1500m shouldn't be a bother.

RACE 2 - BAILE FERVOR (2) has been narrowly beaten at the provincials at his last three and that form reads well. Hard-fit and should find cover. JUSTICE SERVED (4) debuts for Waterhouse-Bott and has been well trialled. Is sure to be well-prepared and looks ready to go. FLYING BANDIT (3) trialled well and wasn't beaten far at Hawkesbury on debut. Needs to find more but has the scope to do so.

RACE 3 - SNIPPETY STAR (1) is a leader who just missed in an Open 2 at Kembla Grange before the spell and resumed with a lip defeat at Canberra. Presents fitter and will take plenty of catching. BIG OPINION (4) is a lightly raced improver from a sharp local barn. Showed enough his first preparation to suggest he has a future and he will come back naturally improved. SPIRIT IN THE DARK (9) was only beaten 3.4L in the Listed Inglis Nursery on debut and will be better for the two runs this campaign. Was last seen in the G3 Black Opal and this is miles easier than that. In Canberra's premier barn and sits down in the weights. KOOL BIRD (5) resumes and has the rail. Has placed fresh and her best would see her around the mark.

RACE 4 - BO KATAN (4) deserved the Wyong Maiden win and followed with a 1.9L defeat at Hawkesbury in a CL1. Peaks now and maps for the run of the race. The mile should suit and he's a decent chance to bounce. DEAD OF NIGHT (3) is a speed-bred gelding in a top Sydney barn and needed the first-up outing. His second-up record is sharp and a low barrier and extra metres advantage. Feared. RICO SUAVE (7) was quickly back on track beaten a whisker at Hawkesbury over 1500m. He has plenty up his sleeve and will get every chance from the handy barrier. NAVAL COMMISSION (6) resumes and is good enough if presented forward. Will race over forward but has had two soft trials and respect the barn.

RACE 5 - AFTERBOOMER (1) resumes for a leading Sydney stable (Neasham) off an easy, heavily bet Maiden win at Newcastle. He's been away for a while but has had four trials since October to fit him out for the return. Presents with the best figures and the betting will tell the story. WILD CALM (4) resumes for Neasham and was a comfortable Scone Maiden winner before the spell. Has a low barrier and has warmed up with two trials. Collett is a positive jockey booking and keep safe. STURN WORDS (6) resumes. Showed good promise during his maiden prep where he narrowly missed out on kicking off his career with two wins from as many starts.

RACE 6 - MARTINI MUMMA (6) led and belted the Wagga Maidens by 5.3L first-up heavily bet and couldn't have been more impressive. Strips fitter and Beasley stays aboard the Matt-Dale-trained filly. She can win this and go on to better things. GETTY (3) recorded a first up maiden win at Canberra. Looks the apparent main danger to the clear favourite by some way. HURT MONEY (1) back to country level the best of the rest. Wasn't beaten far in stronger company at Wyong last start.

RACE 7 - SALUTE AGAIN (6) spiked his figures in the CL5 at Albury and the form around that is good. He's been kept up to the mark with a Wagga trial and Beasley stays aboard. Has the blinkers first-time and shapes as a strong each-way chance. ZOUATICA (1) was plain at Moruya but had been freshened 6-weeks weeks following the big heavy-track win in the Moruya Cup. He has the ability and you'd expect him to be on-song for the rich Wild Card. GUNDY GUY (8) presents at peak fitness looking to extend the picket fence. Has won comfortably his last two and will secure a soft run. His biggest test but is likely to be up to it. BON FRANKIE (2) won a Highway and has been nudged out both starts since. Spiked his figures his latest and would be a hope on that form.

RACE 8 - TAVOLO (1) resumes with an impressive CL1 win at Canberra and then found one better in a CL2 at the Sapphire Coast. He's been freshened and keeps improving. The 2kg claim brings her right into it. Stablemate WHITE LIAR (3) has been narrowly defeated all three runs this preparation and Beasley takes over for the apprentice who sticks. Peaks and could be the one to test. ASTUNNER (5) peaks for Canberra's canny Vella yard and it won't surprise to see him go well. He's better suited in this grade. MASTERS (9) is in a strong local barn and is a chance with the extra fitness. MY GIRONA (10) is also going well enough to consider.
