RACE 1 - STARRY EYES (2) worked home well when resuming last start to finish third, beaten 0.9 lengths at this track and trip. Looks to have returned in good order and draws well again so with improvement likely could take this out. STRAPPARSI (4) saluted at Doomben two runs ago and produced fair effort last time out when beaten less than 3 lengths. A lower draw brings her into contention. Can measure up as can COMPELLING TRUTH (6) who was solid last time in Sydney after kicking off his campaign with back-to-back wins in country NSW. AMATHUBA (15) draws the inside and could go one better than last start.

RACE 2 - WHO ORDERED DAFISH (9) has placed in both runs since a fresh win, last time lifting strongly when beaten a neck over 1400m at this track. Tries the mile for the first time but should be at his peak for this. CONNECTICUT (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, missing narrowly last time over 1350m at Ipswich. Looks suited by the longer journey so he is one of the chief contenders. QUOTHQUAN (2) was down the track last time but had kicked off the campaign with two good efforts so it wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back.

RACE 3 - SCHMOOZER (5) has been racing well at this track since a fresh win at Ipswich, making it back-to-back placings when missing by a half length over a mile last start. Runner up at this distance two back. Major player. BROOKHAVEN (9) didn't get into the picture when resuming but is suited stepping up in distance today. Strips fitter so expecting a better result. OCEAN ZAR (15) may have found the mile too far when beaten 2.5 lengths at $2.50 last start. Winner at this course and distance two back so this suits better. TENZING (6) went to the paddock off a Doomben win and is a two-time winner at this shorter trip so could go well fresh. KINETIC (12) hasn't been far away of late and won her only attempt at this track and trip.

RACE 4 - EL MORZILLO (2) raced well in a hit-and-run mission to Sydney where she was beaten 2.6 lengths in the rich Inglis Millennium over 1100m at Randwick. Scored over this distance two back at Sunshine Coast and looks well placed despite a wide draw. ZOUNA (4) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 1110m at Doomben, clearing out to score by 2.5L. Has upside and drawn for a soft run. Key runner. DEVINE FORCE (1) resumes having won her two starts at this course and distance at her maiden campaign. Has trialled and could pick up where she left off. MISHANI LILY (3) won fresh at Doomben before a 1.8 length third in the QTIS Jewel last start at Gold Coast. Respect. PETTICOAT (9) scored on debut over 900m at Newcastle and has some upside so could go on with it.

RACE 5 - OUTWEIGHED (1) gave a big sight last start when she led and kicked on for second behind a smart mare at Gold Coast. Owns an impressive strike rate at this distance, winning five of seven attempts. Top chance. HEARTONI (3) improved his rating second-up when he scored at Sunshine Coast Poly. Has a very good record over the journey with three wins and two placings from six starts. Another bold showing is expected. MALABOOM (4) has been freshened since a first-up placing but has trialled. Races well second-up and won her lone attempt here so can make an impact.

RACE 6 - APOPHIS (13) is a progressive gelding who scored by half a length when resuming last start at this track and distance and has been kept up to the mark with a trial win since. Building an impressive record and can take the next step. MUSCHIALLI (6) made an encouraging return when he stuck on for second last start over 1100m at Gold Coast. Tends to do his best work at this shorter trip. Likely to be in the finish. HOLD ON HONEY (2) led and kept going to score by 1.8 lengths when resuming at this track and trip. Strikes at 50 per cent when second-up so can deliver again. BRING ME KASH (9) made it two wins in a row when he led throughout last start to beat Muschialli at Gold Coast. Contender again. RED RUBI (8) races well second up so can progress.

RACE 7 - OUTLAWED (4) was well in commission when resuming at this track and trip and stuck on fourth, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner. She has improved second up in past campaigns and the record at this journey is strong. Winning claims. BUBBA'S BAY (1) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an easy 3.6 length win over this trip at Doomben last time. Goes very well at this journey, boasting three wins and a placing from five starts. Right in this. TOJAKI (7) recorded back-to-back Doomben wins last time in and won her lone try at this distance. Proven fresh and can go well off a solid trial. MAHBABY (2) has been racing well and is close to a win off back-to-back placings at this journey, the latest at this track. PRINCESS TENKO (6) has recorded two wins and a placing from three second-up attempts so is a likely improver.

RACE 8 - MILLANE (2) kicked off his campaign with a win in this grade over this course and distance then was a beaten favourite last time but only 1.8 lengths off the winner. He is drawn to enjoy the favours and can bounce back. OUR MAGNUS (8) sat just off the speed when resuming last start at this course and distance and fought on well to be beaten a neck into second. Races well second up so should be improved. Among the leading chances. LIBERTY STEPS (17) is a newcomer to the McCall yard from Victoria where he scored two back at Geelong. Readied with two solid trials and can measure up. THIS IS ONE (15) comes to town in good form having recorded an all-the-way win in his last two starts. Can give a sight again.

RACE 9 - DAYTONA BAY (2) has been racing in great heart and is yet to miss the top-two this time in. Raced on pace and fought well when beaten just a head into second last time out over 1800m at Gold Coast. Races well here and gets his chance to put another win on the board. PERFECT THOUGHT (7) hasn't been too far way in his last two outings in Sydney and is suited back to a distance where he is proven and finished 1.8L away two back at Randwick. Well placed. RED WAVE (8) worked home okay when fresh and is a two-time second-up winner so can improve. OSTERMEIER (12) settled well back but hit the line hard to win by 0.8 lengths when resuming over today's course and distance. Could go on with it. WAIRERE FALLS (11) makes each way appeal.
