BETTER SHOW (4) led throughout for a maiden winner at just her second start last time out, scoring by 1.2 lengths at this track and trip. Has upside so could go through her grades. MARGOT BARBIE (2) has been consistent since getting off the mark five runs back, the latest effort a second at this course and distance. Draws well and should be competitive. CHOCMINT (1) is a gelded first-starter by Whittington Draws on the rail and placed in a recent trial. Could pay to watch for market confidence.

RACE 2 - MAMA'S MAN (5) led and kicked on to finish second when first-up from a break last time out over 1000m at this track. Open to improvement and has winning claims in this suitable assignment. IMPERIUM (11) made it back-to-back placings when 3 lengths away from the winner last time at Cairns on soft going. Gets some weight relief here and is capable of going close. GABBY'S READY (6) led and faded to fifth last time at Cairns but was runner up in her previous two runs over this journey. Can figure in the finish. MOON MISSILE (9) progressed in a last-start second and can improve further third up..

RACE 3 - MONASTERY (2) has the hoof on the till after finishing runner up in all three starts this time in. Showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to be edged out by a nose at this track and distance. At peak fitness and can break through. SACRED LEGACY (5) hit her peak when she ran on to score over 1400m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Races well at this longer journey so could go on with it. SPECIALTIE (7) was a Warwick winner two back then led and stuck on to place over 1400m at this track. Can feature in the finish again. CONQUERING JUDAS (6) can bounce back.

RACE 4 - MORE THE MERRIER (4) returns from a six-month spell after finishing off the last campaign with two narrow defeats over 950m at Cairns. Has won two of three attempts at this track and trip and is proven fresh so could make a winning return. MISSILE THUNDER (2) finished third at this track and distance at his last appearance nine months ago. Has a great record here, winning six of nine and has only once been beaten in three fresh attempts. Big chance. FOCUS (3) had been racing consistently before he raced on the speed and lifted to score by 0.7 lengths at today's track and trip last start. Anticipating another good run. WANNA TWEET (9) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over today's journey at this track. Go well.

RACE 5 - MISS SEATTLE (5) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and fought on for second, beaten 0.7 lengths at this track and trip. Likely improver and is drawn for a soft run. Has strong prospects. MYSTERY 'N' MAGIC (6) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, working home in good style at the most recent outing for third at this course and distance. Nearing peak fitness now. Good chance to break through. HE'S XCEPTIONAL (2) scored a win in this grade two back at this track and trip so can measure up with his A-game. RED LIGHT ROXANNE (4) worked home when resuming from a spell over 1250m at Cairns, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter and draws lower so can run well.

RACE 6 - FANCIFUL MR FOX (6) raced on pace and fought on well to finish third last start over this trip at Cairns, beaten one length. Won the only other time he attempted this distance and is drawn to enjoy the favours. Top chance. ALTAR BOY (4) placed two back then last time settled at the rear but stoked up nicely in the straight for fourth over this journey. Leading player. SCAPINI (7) hasn't been far away of late and steps up to the distance that produced his lone career win. In the mix. BETTER DAYS AHEAD (1) eases back in grade on recent attempts so could play a role.

RACE 7 - CASTILE (3) made an encouraging return after nearly five months off when he chased well to miss by a head at this course and distance. His second up record isn't as good as when fresh but banking on him going on with the job. STICK TO YOUR GUNS (9) continued his consistent form when fourth last start at this track and trip after racing on the pace. Expected to be in this for a long way. CRAICARO (14) worked home to be beaten 2.5 lengths when resuming here. Fitter this time and can progress. FIVE BULLS (5) has been runner up in both runs since a spell and could be ready to peak.

RACE 8 - HIT SNOOZE (2) is working up to a win having run another good race last start to finish third in a higher-graded race over 1200m at this track. Carries a big weight but looks nicely placed in this line-up. MAKE IT HAPPEN (7) did a good job to place when resuming, continuing the consistent form from last campaign. Can progress off that. FLAMING HOMER (4) has put together a couple of wins at this course, last time over 1200m when he got home by a long neck. Hard to knock winning form so can play a pivotal role again. BOOMALINA (9) has been runner up in four of her last five starts, last time missing by a nose at Mackay. Can figure prominently again.
