RACE 1 - CARACRISTI (1) has been nudged out at both starts and was a short-priced favourite last time. Races forward and with the extra fitness she can break through. BOOGIE FEVER (3) debuted in the same contest beaten 2.3L. She's sure to have come on and it's hard to risk the potent Stanley-Taylor linkage. FIREBREAK (5) debuts from an inside gate with the blinkers on. She looked good winning a recent trial over 900m and has to be kept safe. SEWN UP (10) has the rail and can offer more second-up. Goes into the exotics.

RACE 2 - A weak race and the better chances have awkward barriers. ANDIRON (7) is third up and has a key jockey switch with Stanley replacing the apprentice. Yet to recapture her Victorian form, but hasn't been having much luck. Tipping quick improvement. KAISA (8) settled last beaten 2.2L here. Peaks now and the longer sprint suits. CERARED (10) led here last time and overraced. Was good at Thangool prior but that was over the short course. LET'S ROLL (12) has had three starts for the new yard since the switch from Victoria. Drops back to a sprint today and uses the rail. No surprise to see a better effort.

RACE 3 - HANGIN' AROUND (1) trialled well and then found one better at Rockhampton on debut. Fitter now and Butler stays aboard the Taylor-trained galloper. He's sure to go close. ONLY ONE LOOK (7) resumed improvement before the narrow defeat here over 1100m. She's also up in trip and from a low gate will get every chance to go one better. Feared. FLYING MAPLE (8) will be better for the two solid efforts at Rockhampton. Has a handy gate and can make the finish. EYES ARE LION (5) has the inside barrier and the blinkers applied and may be the next best.

RACE 4 - FULMEN (3) was ridden quieter second-up when easily winning a Rockhampton Maiden. He maps for the run of the race and can go on with it now. It's hard to risk the lethal Stanley-Taylor linkage. WELL RESTED (10) was a comfortable Maiden winner and just missed a place here following in a 55. Peaks and has plenty of weight relief today. Using an inside gate she can make the finish. SHEEZALITTLETORQUE (9) peaks and go on the close-up effort at Rockhamption two back. She gives every impression the longer sprint will suit. OSCAR BRAVO (2) is an ex-Victorian third-up for the new yard. Has plenty up the sleeve and Wiggins is a positive jockey booking. Looking for a much better effort today.

RACE 5 - A good contest. I SAY BOOM (5) went back-to-back here over this distance despite the inconvenience of a slipped saddle. He keeps improving and draws soft keeping the handy 2kg claim. He's capable of taking the next step at good odds. HE'S THE ONE (9) resumed further improved and then got too far back the one following as a firm favourite. Fitter now and is suited over the longer journey. He should be right in the finish. The ex-Victorian BATTLE SOUND (2) will be better for his first outing for the Wehlow barn and finally draws a decent gate. He won't have to improve much to feature. ROY'S ROAD (6) maps well and has been knocking on the door.

RACE 6 - BRING ME FLOWERS (2) is third-up seeking the hat-trick off comfortable wins. The speedy galloper jumps from the rail and Stanley sticking is a positive. She can go on with it. TRACK TALE (4) resumes off a pair of comfortable wins. She's 2/2 fresh and 5/9 overall. Her trials have been sharp and a bold return is anticipated. THISLAND IS MYLAND (1) had been threatening before delivering the 65 win at Rockhampton. The longer sprint is a slight niggle and he is a clear top weight. Regardless, he's capable of going back-to-back. AIDENABET (8) raced a short-priced favourite in the Bring Me Flowers race and things didn't work out. The Rockhampton run prior reads well and a bounce at odds won't surprise.

RACE 7 - AOLANI (10) switched from a Victorian barn and walloped the Townsville Maidens by 2.2L first up. She races forward and has plenty up her sleeve. Has a small claim and rates to take the next step. SKREATCH (5) resumes and has switched from a Grafton stable. He was a strong Maiden winner there three-back and will race forward. He can get some of the better money if presented forward. IAMRUSTYPARKER (1) resumes and has switched from a NSW barn. Has been away for a while but has pieces of decent form that would see him in the finish. SILENT ANGEL (9) was fractious in the barrier but recovered to miss narrowly at Thangool first up. Has placed 2/2 second up and will also be around the mark.
