RACE 1 - SUPER QUICK (8) is building up to a win, most recently finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at Dalby. Drawn nicely and has scope for further improvement so is one of the main chances. LANGLANDS (3) is a four-year-old gelding on debut. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Press Statement and a half brother to Morvada. Scored in his most recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Promising type who is ready to run boldly. ABSOLVE (6) is knocking on the door after a narrow defeat last start over 900m at Wandoan after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running another bold race. ELECTRIC HASHMAL (2) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Ran fourth in a trial at Doomben over 1000m recently. Keep safe.

RACE 2 - BOLD PEDRO (2) enjoyed a class drop from the city last start and scored by half a length as public elect over 1560m at Mackay. Well placed and is likely to play a major role. SUBSTITUTION (6) is racing well with a string of top-four finishes. Started at $5 last time when fourth, beaten 2.3 lengths, at Dalby over this trip. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Contender. THE TYLER (3) has trialled since the last attempt in the city. Better placed and races well at this distance. MOSCINI (1) is also in the mix.

RACE 3 - BAG OF WHITT (5) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by one length over 900m at Roma. Open to plenty of improvement and drawn for a soft run so looks a threat. AIN'T SHE LOVELY (2) resumes off decent form. Proven fresh and readied with two nice trials. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. LATENIGHTTOUGHGUY (3) will be fitter for two starts since a spell and worked home in a higher-graded race last time. Could be ready to hit his peak now. MOMACK (1) is another returning and can make his presence felt.

RACE 4 - FROZEN MISS (3) has been solid in two runs since a spell and improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1100m at Dalby. Peaking third up and drawn for a soft run so can take this out. ARABIAN FOX (5) has trialled since the last attempt and did a good job for a maiden win two back at Kilcoy. Can bounce back. SCREAMING DIVA (7) was a beaten favourite last time but had a series of close up efforts before that so can do better. Looking for improvement from RED NEBULA (8) second up.

RACE 5 - FITASAFIDDLE (9) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage sixth last start at Sale over 1200m. Has switched to the Amanda Park stable since. Expected to be very competitive. ALL ABOUT HIM (2) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish third last time over 870m at Toowoomba, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has scope for further improvement. DAYTONA GAL (6) has been solid in two runs since a spell, last time finishing third over 1100m at Warwick. She could be ready to find the winners' list. BOLD TONTO (14) has not raced since his debut in September but has been readied with two trials. Go well.

RACE 6 - STORMTROOPER (3) hasn't been far away of late. Placed two back at Gold Coast Poly then finished 1.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1200m at Warwick. Tackles a longer journey this time. Right in this. DENMAN BLUE (6) is racing in good form. Scored three back and steps up in trip after missing by just a nose when second at Esk last start. Assisted by the rails draw and is a winning chance. ELIZANO (1) recorded back-to-back placings before a midfield finish last time out. In the mix. STRYKING PRINCESS (9) was safely held last start but was runner up at her previous two and races well here with two wins and a placing from four attempts.

RACE 7 - ROSE OF TAORMINA (7) has been racing consistently with a string of top-four finishes since scoring over 1400m at Rockhampton. Stuck on well when runner up last start and has a consistent record at this distance. Goes on top in this suitable assignment. WITNESS ATTACK (13) ended last campaign with a win at bell. Readied with a trial and has won fresh before. Player with blinkers on first time. WHERE'S TEKAY NOW (4) is two from two when third up so could peak aided by the inside draw. BALTIMORE BULLET (1) has been solid of late and could play a role.
