RACE 1 - HEAD CASE (5) returned for second prep with a most improved third over 1110m at Doomben on March 6. Will relish the massive drop in grade and prove hard to hold out. BLACK ASSASSIN (3) beaten for early speed on debut when a plugging seventh over 1200m at Eagle Farm on February 3. Improvement expected back in trip and grade. BENGAL DIAMOND (9) first starter by Flying Artie out of Bengal Angel from the Adam Campton yard. Ran third in a 900m trial at Beaudesert on March 4. Stays in the mix.

RACE 2 - IDEEL HERO (3) fitter with racing and looks set to peak fifth-up. Stuck on well with the 59.5kg when a gritty third over 2200m at Newcastle in similar grade on February 26. This easier and gets all the map favours. THE WELLIAN (6) mixing his form in Queensland and will apreciate the drop in weight and extra trip. Anchored with the 60kg when seventh over 2040m at Doomben on February 28. Best figures can see him play a leading role. I'MTIMMYZOU (4) bounced back to form when sat on the speed for a tenacious 0.7 len victory over 2200m here on March 7. Backs-up quickly and can win again. BLAGNY (1) Neasham-trained mare racing in a rich vein of form. Taken to the front and cleared out for a dominant 2.5 lengths win over 2230m at this track on February 22. Jumps 3kg in weight and not to be underestimated.

RACE 3 - RUSSIAN INN (10) found the 800m short of her best in the heavy (8) going when a plodding ninth over 800m at Coffs Harbour on March 11. Backs up quickly and placed this track and trip. Has to be included. QUEENBEEL (9) resumes after stretching out in trip last time in when failing to make an impression. Placed first-up in the past and look for her charging late with the claim. MAYBE SMART (10) caught the eye late last start and should be charging home again.

RACE 4 - FRIEND IN NEED (10) placed in three runs from four starts and has been plagued by wide barriers of late. Resumed over an unsuitable trip when a plugging sixth over 1000m at Ballina on March 1. Look for her motoring late. BLING EMPIRE (9) had no luck from the wide draw second-up when a tiring eighth over 1600m at Wyong on February 22. Inside gate helps and can turn it around against this lot. GOLDEN COPPER (7) fitter after two runs back and desperate for this distance now. Showed speed from the wide draw when a close-up fourth over 1175m here on March 7. Inside gate helps and looks good value.

RACE 5 - COASTAL RAIDER (4) has a good record this track and trip and gets her chance from the inside gate today. Taken back from the sticky draw and never got into the race when sixth over 1175m here on March 7. Will race much closer from the soft gate and take plenty of stopping. TYPHOON NETA (8) solid return when wound up strongly to go under narrowly over 1015m at this track on February 22. Clearly come back well and can go one better today. SHAGGY ROGERS (1) consistent gelding who tried hard on resumption with the 60kg when a sound second over 1300m at Ballina on March 1. Back in trip and look for him late. ORSUM (7) strong through the line late after drawing out when fourth over 1190m here on February 22. Gets map favours and has the figures to take this out.

RACE 6 - MAXIMUM VORTEX (6) month between runs when bounced back to form with a hard-fought victory over this track and trip on March 7. Claim helps again and best figures will see him go close. BOW (10) back in grade when launched late for a swooping victory over 1106m here on February 17. Drops sharply in weight and has a good record here. BONCASSIE (4) strong win two-back before struggling when eighth over 1200m at Eagle Farm on February 17. This looks more to her liking and sharp improvement expected. ZOUKINA (7) returns from a let-up after jumping in class and trip when a poor eighth over 1590m at Ballina on January 25. Has a solid record here and don't underestimate.

RACE 7 - CHARMED DESTINY (1) mixing form of late and worth another chance from the good gate after struggling when resuming with a battling 12th over 1175m at this track on March 7. Comes to hand quickly and should handle the rise in trip. SHEEZABENFICA (15) never in contention when a dismal eighth over 2200m at Ipswich on March 9. Backs up quickly and go on earlier efforts over this track and trip. TRUE FAIRY (13) progressive filly holding her form well in first prep. Rocketed late from well back when second over 1590m at Ballina on March 1. Has the numbers to finish over the top of these.
