RACE 1 - BUSTLING (1) was a very impressive winner on debut, sitting outside the leader in running and putting them away with ease. The wide draw is a little concern, but suspect he's come on from the debut effort. Showed plenty of pace on his debut and he can run away with this race as well. SIREN ASSAULT (8) jumped favourite on resumption but may have just needed the run, sticking on well enough to finish 2.7L off the winner. She'd trialled well heading into the fresh run so suspect she's better than what we saw there. Can improve with the run under her belt. SNIPER'S SON (2) stuck on well at his debut, finishing 1.9L off the winner before a break. He'll be fitter for one trial coming in and the visors go on first time. Can play a major role. AT YOUR SERVICE (9) ran on well behind Bustling on debut and should be better for that effort. Can improve. WANT A WINNER (7) has looked good at the trials and is not to be discounted.

RACE 2 - ALMIGHTY CLASS (6) is a talented and progressive 3YO who is already locked away for The Quokka. He begins his campaign here after pulling up last prep when narrowly beaten by Super Smink. Looks a horse better than this grade and should start his Quokka campaign with a win. ROCK THIS TOWN (5) has been superb in his past few starts, missing last start at Pinjarra in a photo finish. He drops in weight today after the claim of Gaerth and he'll make his own luck on speed. Will prove tough to catch. PREMIUM CHOICE (3) was coming on well behind Rock This Town last start at Pinjarra and mightn't be as far away this time. Freshened between runs and will give his rivals something to think about. SWIM THROUGH (7) is better than what we saw in his only run last campaign and can bounce back.

RACE 3 - ANGEL UNDERCOVER (7) appears a filly on the rise after a dominant win last start over this course and distance. She drops in weight today as she takes on the older horses and has shown good versatility thus far. Can add to her already successful record. ICE PICK NICK (1) made a winning start to his WA career, leading all the way in tougher company 21 days ago. He does rise in weight, but he's drawn well and should be fitter for the fresh effort. Big chance to go back-to-back. KELVINATER (5) interestingly drops in distance after sticking on well first-up over 1400m on February 24th. He maps for a nice run in transit and a repeat of his first-up effort would see him in the finish. REAR ADMIRAL (6) should enjoy the step out to 1200m again and can put his best foot forward. BUDGERIGAR (4) won well at Esperance last time out and has claims.

RACE 4 - SONOFTHEBOSS (5) just couldn't hold off an in-form galloper first-up, fighting to the line to be beaten in a photo finish. He was favourite there and should strip fitter for the fresh run. Returned a new peak rating first-up and laid the platform for a successful campaign. Can go one better now. CHEEKY CHARLOTTE (8) looks a progressive type having contested Open 3YO company last start after beginning her career with back-to-back wins. The form coming out from behind her has been superb and she maps beautifully today. Can bounce back to winning ways. NORICH (6) hits the peak of his powers fourth-up today after running close to the top pick last time out. Comes in with the right formlines and can make his presence felt if he runs to form. GOLDEN FIGHTER (3) made it back-to-back wins when beating Sonoftheboss last start, but was 25-1. Respect the form but he does meet them worse at the weights. MAGNALEE (1) is not to be discounted after a good win last start.

RACE 5 - BOAB BOY (1) can't be knocked on his recent form and continues to impress, winning by 0.7L over 1500m here last time out. He'll carry less weight today with the claim of Derrick and maps for an easier run in transit. Racing well and can bring up back-to-back wins. FULL OF MERIT (7) jumped favourite over Boab Boy last time out and was only 0.7L away on the line. She does meet him a little worse at the weights this time, but she was 35 days between runs at their latest stoush. Blew the cobwebs out there and can go one better this time. LORD GANNICUS (3) just missed when favourite at Bunbury last weekend over 1675m. Better draw this time helps his chances and Parnham sticking is a good sign. Will make his presence felt. WOZZECK (5) ran over the top to win impressively 9 days ago and had claims. GOLD MERITS (6) can be running on strongly at the finish.

RACE 6 - MISS SKYHIGH (2) has been racing as though she's ready for this trip and was mowing down the winner late in the race last time out. Can be a touch closer from the draw this time and is bred on the same cross as Spring Champion winner Tom Kitten. Can see her turning the tables. OWN THE QUEEN (1) hasn't put a foot wrong thus far, winning the lead-up and beating Miss Skyhigh by 1L last start. Should put herself in a handy enough position once again but she does meet her rivals worse at the weights for her latest win. Hard to knock her form though. STARATING (3) kept on well for third in the Ascot 1000 Guineas and looks the logical next pick. May be back in the run, but is racing well and deserves to be at the pointy end of the race. KINELLINS LEGACY (4) will find this much tougher but has already ticked the 2200m box in impressive style. Could land the knockout punch. LEAD BY EXAMPLE (6) looks best of the rest after her last-start effort.

RACE 7 - WUBIN GOLD (8) turned in a solid first-up effort but just bumped into a fit and in-form horse in the process. Should be fitter for that effort and did show sharp improvement second-up last campaign. She'll probably end up a better horse than these and she can prove that today. CERRIDWYN (3) has been superb all campaign, finishing just 0.9L off the winner here last time out. Brad Parnham was on board for the win two starts ago and hops back in the irons once again. Little niggle with the draw but he's racing well and appears the main danger. NEW MUSIC (10) looks a progressive filly and has performed well at the trials leading into her first-up effort. Ended last campaign in fine style and it wouldn't surprise to see her return in a similar vein. THEHORSEMAN (1) won well last start and it wouldn't surprise to see him go on with the job. YARRALEA (7) has been around the mark her past few and is not to be discounted.

RACE 8 - A LOT OF GOOD MEN (2) stuck on well in the Lex Piper, running the winner to just a half-length and firing in a protest post-race. That was dismissed, but he looks to meet his rival on better terms today. Brilliant run in the Northerly here just 4 starts ago and he can go one better today. RUSSIAN TO THE BAR (1) survived the protest to hold on to the victory last start in the Lex Piper. He dopes rise in weight today, but we probably haven't seen the best of him yet and he maps for a beautiful run once again. Will take plenty of beating again. ICEBERGS (5) was a good winner over this track and trip last start. This is tougher, but he's a similar mould to his rivals. Keep safe. OUR ROCKY BAY (8) is hard to knock on form and while this is tougher, he looks to be getting better as he rises in trip. Include.

RACE 9 - Good race to end the day. ROYAL TORONADO (9) was one of the best finishers in the Lex Piper a fortnight ago and has bypassed the Roberts for this. Will most likely get back from the draw, but can be rattling home over the top of them. Vibe is he's better than we've seen so far. COSMIC CRUSADER (8) needed the run first-up, dropping out of contention in the Lex Piper after running up front. Fitter now and his best form is superb for a race like this. Sticky draw, but with some luck he'll take plenty of beating. SAPPHIRE STREET (10) makes it difficult for herself by getting a long way back, but has been finishing off strongly in tough events. Might be looking for the mile now and Parnham sticking is a good push. Worth keeping on side. CASH AWAY (3) bounced back to form last start and the form out of the race has already stood up. Not out of this. MATERIAL WITNESS (4) has been racing well all campaign and warrants plenty of respect.
