RACE 1 - PLAIMONT (10) progressed at start number two when she came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score at Grafton. Has upside so could take the next step. FLASH PRINCE (5) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 2020m at Doomben. Race fit and is likely to play a big role. DIVAZINO (7) scored in country NSW two back and didn't do a bad job when third last start at Doomben. Worth thought.
RACE 2 - WARP SPEED (5) has been good in two runs since a spell, last time chasing well to be beaten one length into third over 1600m at Eagle Farm. Races well at this venue and proven at the journey so could break through third up. BETTCHA THE CROWN (3) has been close up in two runs since a win at Eagle Farm, finishing 1.4 lengths away last time out over 1350m at Doomben. Tries this distance for the first time but only needs to hold his form to make an impact again. GRANITE PRINCE (7) has been about the mark with three close-up efforts since winning at Doomben. In the mix again. WAIRERE FALLS (4) has found the line well at his last couple. This journey suits and he should be close to peaking. GOLDEEL (12) is a last-start winner who scored the only time she raced here. Respect.
RACE 3 - HELEVA DEEL (4) has hit the line well in both runs since a spell, putting the writing on the wall last time when settling last but closing late for a 1.4L fourth at Doomben. Two-time third-up winner suited at this longer trip. Ready to win. ARTFUL GIRL (14) produced a good run two starts back to finish second at Doomben but was below par last time. She is better than that. CHAYSE 'N' ARTIE (3) can do better dropping to a distance where he was a winner three back.
RACE 4 - DAYTONA BAY (1) is racing well, scoring two back at Eagle Farm before fighting strongly and finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in second last time over 1615m at Doomben. James Orman stays on. Race fit and up to a trip where he is yet to miss a place. Top chance. INDIAN DREAMER (8) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish 1.6 lengths from the winner over 1615m at Doomben. Two-time third-up winner so can progress. KISS SUM (9) has been racing in Sydney and there was merit in the latest effort when beaten 3.2 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Randwick. Can measure up. RED TOP (13) is improving with racing this time in and put the writing on the wall when placed last time. Proven at this longer trip and close to peaking. Last-start winner SOUTHERN STOCK (11) is building a strong record at this journey so respect.
RACE 5 - PLUNDERING (1) has continued his consistent form from NSW in his two Queensland runs, last time fighting well to go under by 0.4L when runner up at Eagle Farm. Won the only time he attempted this course and distance so gets his chance to break through. SELOUS (8) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Kris Lees barn. Last seen when beaten 2L at Randwick Kensington five months ago and readied with two trials. Bold showing expected. JOHN RAMBO (4) ran on hard last time to follow a win at Eagle Farm. Has won three of five attempts at this distance. Look for him late. IRON GRACE (20) could take the next step after running on for a resuming win over this distance at Eagle Farm. BROOKHAVEN (2) is back after a break of nine months but races well both fresh and at the distance so has to be respected.
RACE 6 - ENTERPRISE POMME (7) was only beaten 2.5L at Listed level first up then gave a big sight when leading and fighting well for third over 1200m at Doomben last start, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Races well third-up so can peak. BOOM TORQUE (3) is building a strong strike rate having found winning form last time at Doomben. The only time he raced here he won the Magic Millions QTIS Open three back. Strong claims. LEGAL ESPRIT (1) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Placed over 1350m two starts back then scored by half a length last time out over 1200m at Doomben. Races well here so can play a major role. VIMINELE (8) ran on well last time to follow a win at Doomben. Owns a good strike rate at this distance range. DON'T STOP (6) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 1.2 lengths at Ipswich last start. Drawn to feature again.
RACE 7 - CHINNY BOOM (3) hasn't raced for eight weeks but the form is strong with placings in good races in both runs since a fresh win. Chased strongly for third in the Magic Millions QTIS Open at this track last start and has been kept up to the mark with a trial win. Has won five of six attempts at this distance. Well placed. BLACK ON BEAUTY (9) improved second-up when she led into the straight before fighting on for second, beaten half a length over 1200m at Eagle Farm. Proven third up so can peak. MABEL (1) hasn't been far from the placegetters in two runs in Sydney since a break, the latest when running on for a 1.4L fourth over 1100m at Rosehill. Race fit now and can measure up. OUTWEIGHED (13) wasn't far away last start and the strike rate is impressive. WANDA ROX (6) deserves respect off a string of top-two finishes.
RACE 8 - MISHANI LILY (8) was quickly into stride when resuming over 1110m at Doomben and defied all challengers to score by 1.4 lengths. Steps up to 1200m for the first time but she should be improved and has upside so can take the next step. DEFIANT BOOM (3) kept chasing for third as favourite last time out over 1110m at Doomben, making it three minor placings from as many starts. The hoof in on the till and he looks a real danger. MISHANI ALOHA (7) has been freshened since a midfield finish in the Magic Millions 2yo Classic at this track and has a couple of Doomben wins under her belt. Blinkers added so worth plenty of thought. MISHANI CROWN (10) is another with the shades on and continued her consistent form when third last time at Doomben. Include along with debut winner ESTRONDO (6) who has upside.
RACE 9 - DEFIANT SPIRIT (1) returned off a let-up with a fast finishing win over 1110m at Doomben last time, settling well back but steaming home. Draws wide but he should be improved and won his only attempt at this course and distance. TRIFLING (10) hasn't raced since the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas at this track where she was only beaten 1.7 lengths. Scored over further two back at Eagle Farm but is a two-time winner at this trip so can sprint well on the fresh side. HIGHBAR (5) has yet to miss a place this time in including a Sunshine Coast win two back. Scored the only time he raced at this journey and will be at his peak fourth up. PARTY FOR TWO (11) should be ready to go first up off an easy trial win while the consistent RINGER'S REWARD (12) is worth a place in the exotics.
RACE 10 - PARTY SPIRIT (13) continues to race well three successive placings since putting together a hat trick of wins, last time beaten just half a length into third over 1200m at Doomben. Likely to play a pivotal role in a winnable race. HIDDEN WEALTH (12) will be improved by the resuming placing at Eagle Farm and won the only time he attempted this distance. JAMAICAN RUMBA (10) led and kicked away for an easy win on the poly last time. Owns a good strike rate at this distance so respect.
