RACE 1 - ANTIQUE STAR (7) debuted with a solid effort at Ascot well supported and then raced a firm favourite at Belmont missing a nose over this distance. She can use the low barrier and fitter again can go one better. WAYNE THE PAIN (1) disappointed two back, but the form on each side of that reads well. There was only a lip in it at Scarpside 11 days ago and he has more to give. MISS WALL STREET (8) was tracking well before a lesser effort placing at Scarpside. Third up now and has claims with Chris Parnham remaining aboard. CINCINNATI DUKE (2) has his third start and will find this more suitable than Ascot. Finally draws a low barrier and has the first-time blinkers applied. He's likely to sit more forward and improve. SANDFIRE ROSE (9) just missed at Scarpside first-up and can build on that.

RACE 2 - CHAMPEZE (9) is a leader who has gone close in town her last two. Dropping back 100m won't harm and she hits this at peak. Has a handy gate and will be hard to peg back. JUST FAMOUS (2) lifted his figures again beaten 1L at Ascot and then was plainer there from the rails gate. He will get more air today and Chris Parnham stays aboard. Gets another chance. LOMBADINA (10) pushed forward from a wide barrier at Scarpside and just came up short. Uses the rail today and keeps the in-form CJP. Has to find a bit more but has plenty of scope to do so. REGGIO CALABRIA (6) debuts and his latest Belmont trial was sharp. Has an inside alley and is a betting watch.

RACE 3 - FRAPPUCCINO (5) trialled well and then went close at Bunbury on debut before leading as a firm favourite at Scarpside beaten a nose. Has the handy gate and with the extra fitness should be winning. BIONDO (6) brings some decent city form and has scope for further improvement. Has a handy barrier and is a quinella chance. HAYDROSS (1) will be fitter and can show more like his best. He's on the quick backup and has the visors applied for the first time. STORMAGEDDON (8) has been honest in two runs to date, the latest finishing sixth over 1300m at Pinjarra Scarpside when boxing on okay. Could find longer journey helps and expected to go close.

RACE 4 - This is tricky with a couple of debutants engaged who look sharp. ON A WINNING DAY (8) gives away starts but is busting to win and there was not much in it at Ascot last time. Chris Parnham rides today replacing CJP who stays with the above. A chance if things go her way. STATE OF FURY (11) brought decent city form to resumption and will be better for the outing. Placed her only second-up run and quick improvement is anticipated. CENTRE BOND (6) and AIN'TSOBAD (10) both debut and have looked the goods at the trials. They should get every chance and the betting moves have to be monitored closely.

RACE 5 - Competitive. CIAO LUNA (6) got CJP and turned her form right around winning the CL3 at Scarpside comfortably. The steward queried the improvement and they expect to see more consistency from her henceforth. CJP stays aboard and fitter again she can go back-to-back. RUSSIAN SNIPER (4) won at Mt Barker and then tackled a 70 at Albany and found one much too good. Was narrowly beaten in a CL5 here before those and keeping a handy 2kg claim can fight out the finish. PRINCE RAGNAR (3) led and missed a nose at Albany rekindling his best form. Has a low gate and gets in light with the 4kg claim. Don't underestimate. MY BABY BLUE JEAN (9) finished in touch at Mt Barker before the half-length defeat in a No-Metro Win at Ascot. Has a 3kg claim and will be around the mark.

RACE 6 - Competitive. DECORATION (4) resumed in stronger at Ascot over 1400m and needed the outing. Is looking for the mile now and has plenty up his sleeve. Maps for the run of the race and Chris Parnham is a key jockey switch. ANOTHER STRIKE (2) improved again winning a No-Metro Win at Ascot. Peaks today and he will go close if he runs the 1600m right out. WOZZECK (5) found more like his best at Belmont in stronger and will be better for it. Has an awkward barrier but gives every indication this distance will suit. BEERMULLAH (11) surprised the market when narrowly beaten this grade at Ascot. That stacks right up and CJP goes aboard for the apprentice. Keep safe. MISSILE STORM (6) is racing well and got closer at Geraldton over 1618m. He's in the mix as well.

RACE 7 - REGAL STATUE (7) gave away a big start and was only beaten 1.3L at Pinjarra in stronger company. Kicked off the campaign with back-to-back wins and keeps improving. Chris Parnham goes on for the 2kg apprentice and she will be hard to beat. DIVINE FLIRT (1) has been close-up in town both starts back and drops in grade from Ascot last time. The 1200m suits better and she has more to offer. Has a 4kg claim and that brings her right into it. BISECTOR (3) was nudged out at Ascot against the above but the speedy galloper has to manage the outside barrier today. She can make the finish if things go her way. MYSTIC JANE (6) has been plainer her last two but her form prior stacks right up. Comes back to a short sprint following a brief freshen and that could suit.
