RACE 1 - PULL THE TRIGGER (4) resumed in great order at Ascot with a 1.3L defeat, running on from midfield. Straight up in trip looks ideal and CJP should get every chance from an inside alley. Looks a progressive horse on the way up and can notch up his maiden win today. GRAND RESERVE (5) hasn't been at his best so far this campaign, but this may be what he's looking for. Right out in trip now with Brad Parnham hopping back aboard a positive sign. Expecting him to get back to what he showed in his debut prep. TRIO (7) looks as though he'll relish the rise in trip from what we've seen so far, just being run off his feet over the shorter courses. Much better barrier this time and it's a good lead with Chris Parnham riding. Can turn his form right around. WEST COAST WARRIOR (1) has had plenty of goes now but can be in the finish on his best figures. MANZOR MAGIC (6) gets the blinkers on first time and can run an improved race.

RACE 2 - SHOOTING SPIRIT (5) wasn't beaten far on resumption in the Magic Millions 3YO and we saw that form stand up on Saturday at Ascot. Much easier race this time and have to respect the stable's opinion to throw him in the big races so early. Beautifully placed here and should be returning to the winner's stall. CHOIXWAY (1) comes through a race on the same day where he faded after setting the tempo first-up. This looks an easier race and he has the pace to overcome the wide alley. Strips fitter now and a better run is anticipated. DIABLO LAD (2) continues to improve with every run and was only narrowly beaten over this track and trip 14 days ago. Should be right up on the pace once again and if there's still more improvement to come, he'll be in this race for a very long way. GOLD VANCOUVER (7) steps out to 1200m for the first time but laid a good foundation first-up. Can launch now. PLATINUM SHOT (4) has to be included on his recent efforts.

RACE 3 - BONDI PLUNGE (6) justified her favouritism last start with an impressive 0.7L victory over 1100m on February 21st. She showed last campaign the rise in trip was no worries and she should land in a handy position for Parnham. Can continue on her winning ways. INFLUENCING (2) resumed a winner on the Scarpside at Pinjarra when too good for his rivals. This looks to set up similarly and he'll be fitter for the first-up run. Looks to have turned a corner this campaign and can continue her winning run. MILLSTEE (7) may have found the extra journey a touch too far last start and gets a drop back in trip with the blinkers on first time. Has shown versatility in her runs thus far and a return to form can see her in the finish. COLLECTIVE (1) was strong at the end of last prep and can be right in the finish if she sprints well fresh. EXPOROSE (9) is better than she showed at the end of last campaign and is worth including.

RACE 4 - ANOTHER STRIKE (2) has been superb all campaign, capitalising on his run of form with a 1.3L victory at this track and trip last time out. Form out of that may be franked in the opener. Looks an improving prospect on the way through the grades and can bring up back-to-back wins. MOJO'S LUCK (1) has been getting a long way back in his races which is a big knock, but was rattling home at Pinjarra last time out. This is the easiest race he's contested in some time and the Luke Fernie stable is on fire at the moment. Wouldn't surprise to see him end his winning drought. PRINCESS IN RED (8) was thrown in the deep end last start, tackling Listed company on the back of a maiden win here two starts ago. Respect the stables decision to head there, with this obviously a much easier race. Must be included. ONE PUNCH (6) just missed over this track and trip a fortnight ago. Keep safe. THE RUSH (4) is ticking along nicely without winning and is not to be discounted.

RACE 5 - SILVER BACK JACK (1) has been super his past couple, sticking on well behind a good winner over this trip at Pinjarra (Scarpside) last time out. Appears to be hitting his straps now and can be beautifully placed from a favourable alley. If he continues to improve, he'll take plenty of beating. SANTA BRAE (2) appears the main danger after a 1.9L defeat at Pinjarra 18 days ago. Has been building well prior to that and the stable threw him into Listed company at the end of last campaign. Form from his last start has been franked and he'll make his presence felt. BLUE CARD (5) set the tempo on the Scarpside at Pinjarra and found a couple better on the day, one of those being Silver Back Jack. Can make his own luck up front once again and if he gets it all his own way, he'll be there for a long way. LA CARTIER (8) was 100/1 last start but ran on strongly there and has minor claims. BE AWESOME (7) steps out to this trip for the first time but it appears that it'll suit. Include.

RACE 6 - MADAME MAGIC (5) has been superb all campaign, finishing just 1.4L off a Listed winner last time out. This is a much, much easier race and the wide draw is no issue as she has shown she can run on from the back. May be looking for this extra trip now and can return to the winners list. OCEANZARA (7) couldn't make it a hat-trick last start when beaten 4.1L in a tougher event at Pinjarra. Looks to have plenty in her favour this time from a much kinder barrier and dropping back in trip. Expecting her to bounce back. SHEZGOTTHALOT (11) steps out to this distance for the first time, but is racing as though it'll suit. Ticking along nicely her past few without winning and she may still have improvement to come. Should be in the finish. MIA GUSTO (6) got back to something like her best last start and a repeat effort would see her go close. ROGUES POINT (3) led all the way to win last start and may take plenty of catching again.

RACE 7 - STYLISH LORD (10) returned with a maiden win and a new peak rating, setting himself up for a successful campaign. Good gaps through the field there and while this is tougher, he looks to have plenty of upside and improvement to come. Can build on his fresh effort and bring up back-to-back wins. HIS EMINENCE (4) rallied strongly first-up behind the Ascot 1000 Guineas winner on Saturday and should relish the rise in trip. Likely to get back in the field once again, but he looks in for a good prep and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better this time. SENSESSIONAL (9) steps out to the mile for the first time and gets the blinkers on first time as well. The fact Chris Parnham sticks is a good push for his chances and he can bounce back off a disappointing effort a fortnight ago. DECORATION (8) should improve with the run under his belt and out in trip. CJP's booking is a positive lead. OUR ROCKY BAY (1) must be included after his last start win.
