RACE 1 - AOLANI (3) is having her first run for the Tom Button stable. Hasn't raced since a 2.7L fifth at Hamilton 12 weeks ago. Comes in well at the weights after the claim and can measure up in this region. MAMA'S MAN (5) is back after a break of five months. Twice placed at this distance and draws well. Looks a danger first up. GROVERS PREDICTION (7) will be fitter for the resuming effort and can play a role in what looks a suitable race. ALL POWERED UP (6) showed early pace in the latest hitout so it wouldn't surprise to see him give a sight.

RACE 2 - DANCE FOR ME RANDY (1) finished third when resuming last time out over this course and distance, travelling at the tail of a small field before winding up strongly in the closing stages to get within a length of the winner. Fitter and has yet to miss a place. Can progress and win. FORGETABOUTIT (3) is back from a spell of four-and-a-half months. At the only run clocked in third, beaten 1.1 lengths at this course and distance. Likely to have developed with maturity and draws well. Each way. MARGOT BARBIE (4) was only beaten by 1.8L last time to follow a series of top-three finishes. Go well. MR GRUMBLER (5) ran on when making his debut and can improve.

RACE 3 - DEMON AWARD (4) has continued a run of top-two finishes into this campaign, scoring easily when fresh at this track and trip before a second as a hot favourite last time. Proven third up and should be peaking. Can bounce back. HE'S XCEPTIONAL (1) didn't miss by much when fresh then did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last time out. Could go on with it. MYSTERY 'N' MAGIC (5) made an encouraging return when placed. Races well second up and is aided by the inside draw. MISS SEATTLE (6) can go well first up.

RACE 4 - STICK TO YOUR GUNS (1) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner by half a length last start over 1200m at Sunshine Coast. Freshened since but kept up to the mark with a trial win and looks well placed. BOLD HUNTER (4) has yet to miss the placings this time in, last week beaten 0.7L into second at this course. Go well again. DUSKY DAMSEL (6) made progress for a second-up third last start and is suited up to a distance where her record is sound. COUNT OF CARFORD (2) races well here and has won fresh before. Keep safe.

RACE 5 - BEAUTY BOOM (4) kicked off the campaign with a win two runs back at Gatton then missed the frame last time at Ipswich but was only beaten two lengths. Has won third up before and is better placed this time so is a big chance. HURTLE (3) raced on the pace before drawing clear to score by a neck when resuming over this course and distance last time. Record at the course and distance is sound. Strong claims. DON'T TELL LEEANNE (7) raced just once last campaign when runner up. Owns a strong record here. Contender. TRINITY MISSILE (8) is also in the mix.

RACE 6 - CRAICARO (4) resumes off some decent form having scored twice at this track last campaign. Has won fresh before and a recent trial win suggests she has returned in good order. PUSS BOOTS (6) closed strongly last start and landed the prize by 2 lengths over 1250m at Cairns. Had been racing consistently before that and should enjoy a nice run from this draw. Can go on with it. NAZORIAN (1) continues to race well having added to a string of top-two finishes last time when leading and sticking on for second to Puss Boots. Can play a role again. FLORAL CODE (3) improved his rating when beaten a head last start and could take another step forward third up.

RACE 7 - STRATHCONA (4) ran on well to place here two back then was solid again last time when beaten 2.7 lengths over 1200m. Suspect he is looking for this longer trip and this looks a suitable assignment. PLUCKERCARN (11) put the writing on the wall when edged out by a nose two back before running on to score here last time. Back in trip but he is a three-time winner at this shorter distance. ELLIE'S DREAM (9) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1200m at this track. Could go one better up in trip. GINGER MICK (10) is better suited stepping back up to the distance that saw him win his maiden two back. BABY GUINNESS (2) proved too strong two runs ago then kept chasing when fourth at Bowen last time. Consider.
