RACE 1 - Competitive. IMPENDING LOVE (7) is third-up for the new barn and ready to fire. Her effort at Kilmore before the spell reads well. ZUURBERG (8) resumed in good order and then found one much too good at Wodonga. Will be better for both and is a winning chance. BABALOLA (1) is an improver who may have to find a touch more to be winning. BABALOLA (1) debuts with a 2kg claim but may need racing on what we've seen.

RACE 2 - RIVALDO (7) saluted at Berrigan two runs ago. Fair effort last time when narrowly beaten over 1406m at Benalla. Finds a suitable race and can return to the winner's circle. KEITH (3) placed at Queanbeyan heavily-bet and then things didn't work out this trip at Wodonga. Has the handy 3kg claim and can control the race. Gets another chance. RUPERTS RED ROCKET (5) accounted for a Maiden field over 1400m at Gundagai last start. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Tougher assignment but is a chance to repeat. DALY HEADS (1) had landed two consecutive wins but found 1800m at Gundagai a stretch at the latest. Solid claims on best form.

RACE 3 - HARLEM NIC (6) has needed the two starts this preparation and should be ready to show her best. Raced well at the Victorian provincials last preparation and gets her chance in this lineup. KERMA ART (5) resumed here at a short quote and lacked a finishing burst. Will strip fitter and keeps the 2kg claim. Has the rail and can make quick improvement. PAZIAH (8) was narrowly beaten at the Sapphire Coast two-back and go on that. Will race forward and hits this at peak. Each way. OVERLOADED (3) resumes and has been disappointing. No surprise if he returns in good order

RACE 4 - MAGMETRIC (2) led and won the Maiden easily here on debut heavily bet and then was plain at Wagga and immediately spelled. Resumes owning a sharp Benalla trial and is sure to have come on. Has the rail and a key gear switch. AGENT MOON (7) resumed further improved when finding one too good here riding the speed. Has won 2/3 second-up and Billy Owen is a key jockey switch. Fitter and should go close. ROYSTON HEAD (4) resumes for the new barn and is right up to this at best. Placed here at his only second-up run and expect him to be wound up. FIFTY CARATS (8) is a handy galloper down from Goulburn. Disappointed first-up here as a short-priced favourite but performs second-up and is a chance racing forward.

RACE 5 - DROPS FROM THE SKY (9) switched to the Beer yard and wasn't beaten far here first-up. She will be better over this longer sprint and further. Has a handy gate and quick improvement is likely. BOX OF CRACKERS (8) disappointed her latest but was beaten a nose at Wagga prior and draws better today. The on-pacer deserves the win and gets another chance. BONBROOKE (1) resumes for Beer with a small claim. No surprise if he's made the required improvement. BOY FROM TENNESSEE (2) will be better for the first-up outing and the local should be around the mark.

RACE 6 - Competitive. BIA TINNE (6) was narrowly beaten second-up heavily bet. He has plenty up his sleeve and will be advantaged by the soft track. Has an awkward barrier but Heywood is a key jockey booking. REMIGIUS (1) is in a leading metro barn and ready to fire. Has a wide gate but has a key gear switch and his best figures read well. DOCTOR ROBERT (3) resumes for the Hope yard and has strong figures over a mile. No surprise to see him wound up at 1400m and is a betting watch. QUINLAN (2) led on resumption and ran out of puff late. Fitter and is in the mix.

RACE 7 - IMA GURU (15) impressed winning the CL1 here first-up. Has an awkward barrier but is further improved and looks capable of taking the next step. KARAKA LAD (4) resumed in a 64 and needed it. He has plenty up his sleeve and will race forward from the low barrier. In a leading metro barn and the winkers are applied for the first time. PATRIKA GOLD (11) came back in grade and spaced a small field in the bush. Led beaten 2L this level at Wagga prior and the local has a handy 3kg claim. BRENLYN'S TROOPER (1) wasn't fancied the latest but the Open class placing prior reads well. Draws wide and has to carry 4kg more on the quick back-up.
