RACE 1 - IN GOOD ORDER (1) impressed winning the Maiden here and then things didn't quite work out in stronger at Ascot. This suits better and he can bounce back with Chris Parnham sticking in the saddle. ROCK DEE JAY (2) found his Victorian best beaten 1.5L here over 1400m. He's a chance building on that. MORTICIA (5) is an improver in the Durrant yard and in a key switch CJP rides for the first time. Draws inside and fitter is worth consideration despite the sharp lift in distance jump. BELLA EVE (4) may be next best forgiving the latest.

RACE 2 - ROMANTIC RULER (1) lacked a change of gears at Ascot over 1800m but should appreciate getting out to the longer trip. Just missed at 1400m prior and it's hard to risk the in-form Durrant yard. CAMPFIRE JACK (2) was narrowly beaten at York and has had a brief freshen. Has the figures to go close. DENZOE (6) was good at Geraldton and even better narrowly beaten at Ascot over 1800m. The extra metres shouldn't bother but she's had 32 starts without a win and that's the niggle. SIROTA (3) comes out of the same race and should be ready to fire. Has the ability and can use the rail.

RACE 3 - HEZANGELIC (2) debuts and brings a comfortable Lark Hill trial win. Has a handy gate and Pike's booking is a decent push for his chances. MAGIC BELLE (6) is a leader coming off a narrow defeat here at 1100m. Will skip across and with the extra fitness will be hard to peg back over the shorter sprint. NOVATORIO (9) debuted in the same race beaten 1.6L. Didn't have the best of it and will have taken fitness and learning. Chris Parnham replaces Pike in the saddle. WINNING SHUFFLE (5) debuts with CJP aboard and has trialled solidly. Should go well.

RACE 4 - ESPRIT GARCON (2) resumes and impressed the brief maiden preparation. Spelled off a nose defeat at Belmont heavily bet and will be naturally improved. Has the early speed to manage the outside gate and should prove too good. BRAVE SHOT (6) has raced favourite both starts this preparation will be ready to show more following a brief freshen. In a top metro barn and Pike sticking aboard is a positive. KING OF FRANCE (5) didn't finish it off on resumption. Found a place at Belmont his only second-up run and CJP is back on for Pike. Expect better. CANNY ROCK (1) resumes from an inside gate and has shown enough to consider.

RACE 5 - KRATESIS (10) resumes and is showing plenty of promise. Placed at Belmont two-back in stronger and has trialled up nicely. Chris Parnham stays aboard and will give her every chance from a low gate. ROCKET STORM (11) races forward was only touched off late here 11 days ago over this distance. She's ready to win. MAKES THE CUT (2) resumes and the maiden campaign was also positive. Has trialled well with Chris Parnham in the saddle but Pike takes over today. Has an awkward gate but can make the finish all the same. BEAU TALK (1) was inexplicably plain his latest but showed enough here first-up to consider.

RACE 6 - YONGA LASS (5) won easily first-up as expected and then found one better at Bunbury in stronger than this. Fitter again and can secure the run of the race. Is back to 1400m but rates best and it's hard to risk the potent Pike-Williams linkage. WHO BE WHATEE (4) has been solid both starts this preparation and can springboard off those. Placed as favourite here 11 days ago and has plenty in the tank. CJP for the apprentice is a key jockey switch. CRUISE TO VICTORY (6) was plain at Bunbury but was brought threatening form to that. He can ride the speed from the rail and gets another chance. FRIES WITH THAT (7) led and won the CL1 here in clear fashion and can build on that. Sits down in the weights but Pike gets off.

RACE 7 - ROCK THIS TOWN (6) resumes and is a leader who was beaten a nose at Belmont when last seen heavily-bet. The rail advantages and he goes fresh. Gets the nod in a competitive sprint. UNIVERSAL PLAYBOY (4) resumes in easier and has trialled well. Has won fresh and Chris Parnham stays with him. He should go close. MILITARY POWER (1) led in stronger at Ascot and was ambushed late in proceedings. The near-miss three-back at Belmont reads well for this and he has an inside gate and handy 2kg claim. Worth another chance. MIA GUSTO (5) resumed further improved winning at Geraldton as expected. Will be fitter and is in good hands.
