RACE 1 - NOORTOOMANY (10) switched from a Victorian barn and was narrowly beaten on resumption. Can sit handier today and keeps the 3kg claim. She has more to give and is the one to beat. ROLLING DUCK (12) finished just ahead of the above in the same contest. Draws awkwardly but also gets in well with a 3kg claim. Is ready to win and should go close. LEVEE (6) was beaten less than 2L in that race and drawn handy today can build on that. EQUINE HEADLINE (9) is an improver but a wide gate is against. Ditto MY BOY JETT (7).

RACE 2 - TANE TOA (2) resumes and was going well the last preparation before having excuses the latest. The 2kg claimer can use the rails gate and expect him to be naturally improved and go well. GERRY'S DEAL (3) resumes and has switched from a strong Victorian barn. Brings a solid Morphettville trial and has a 3kg claim. Is speedy and should manage the awkward barrier. JUST THE POTION (14) is a former Victorian who resumed on speed but ran out of puff at the business end. She has more to give and can stick on better. LINCOLN ROSE (12) debuts with Crowther booked and no surprise if she goes well.

RACE 3 - Tough. EXPRESS MASTER (1) resumes and the most recent trial was sharp. Performs fresh and no surprise to see him feature with Ben Price booked. FRENCH ROCK (2) is a veteran on resumption and has won 4 races first up. In a canny yard and has a small claim. Each way. Stablemate FREE WILMA (12) needed the first-up outing and has a 2kg claim today. Draws handy and has more up the sleeve. She's also a value chance. PERFECT ZED (10) resumes off a trial win and goes fresh. Has the ability but risks getting strung up on the rail.

RACE 4 - STRAWBERRY SWING (5) improved again missing a whisker over 1210m in stronger grade. Keeps the handy claim and coming back to the shorter sprint shouldn't bother. Draws handy and can bounce back. SUNMATE (6) resumes in easier and impressed his two starts last preparation. Races forward and is good on the fresh side. Expect him to be ready and go well. ARTFUL AMBITION (7) peaks and is busting to win. There was only 1.6L in it here 2 weeks ago. Has an inside gate and should go close. EVENING BRIDE (9) resumed in the same race and wasn't beaten far. Has more to give and has won second-up. Gets in well with the 3kg claim. ROYAL TYKE (3) placed in the same contest and will ride the speed. Keeps the 2kg claim and is also a chance.

RACE 5 - SIR TOOP (3) resumes and raced in Darwin at the back of the previous campaign. Has won here and at the trip and Crowther is a key jockey booking. Has good figures and no surprise if he's ready to go. CELERITATE REGEM (5) raced handy winning the 54 and will be fitter again. Should get every chance to repeat. Each way. DAY FOR IT (10) is also third-up and knocking on the door. Price is on for the apprentice in a key jockey switch. DIAMONDS ARE (2) resumes and performs fresh. The veteran is a handy 3kg claim. In the mix.

RACE 6 - HE'S ABEL (1) resumes and has been racing in much stronger. Has won fresh and looked good winning the recent 1000m trial at this track. Draws okay and has the handy 2kg claim. TOORAK WARRIOR (3) is third-up and will find this easier than Morphettville. Is capable of making the finish in this line-up. JUSTAKIDD (7) has been around the mark and draws for the run of the race. Ben Price on for the apprentice is a positive lead. AXECAPITAL (4) resumes with a 3kg claim and won the 52 here two back. In the mix if presented forward.

RACE 7 - JOURNEY IN TIME (4) won the 54 first-up and then ran favourite and lacked a finishing punch in much stronger. Carries more weight but is suited and is a chance to bounce. KOVA (3) resumed with a near miss this level and then weakened in a 68. He has two key gear additions and a small claim. A much better effort is anticipated. MAGICOURT (5) is also third-up and has more to give. She's knocking on the door. GALLANTRY GIRL (1) is speedy and won the Maiden on debut. Crowther sticks aboard and winning form is good form.

RACE 8 - SHORT STORIES (3) should be ready to fire and is right up to this at best. Has trialled well since last seen and will go close. LOOKS LIKE A LADY (7) switched from the provincials and took out the 56 stalking the speed. Better for that and Price rides from a handy gate. Has weight relief and looks capable of delivering again. ORIEDOS (13) has been in striking range all three starts this preparation. Will ride the speed from the low barrier and rates a chance. DANTELA (5) peaks and deserved the 62 win. Keeps improving and Crowther stays aboard. She's capable of taking the next step.
