RACE 1 - BIG DEMEANOR (1) resumes and the sharp metro yard and has switched him from Sydney. Just missed at Kembla Grange two starts back and owns an Eagle Farm trial win. Gelded now and draws an inside gate. Looks ready to go and will take tossing. EPIC FLASH (3) is an improver and has switched to the Edmonds barn in a 22-day return. Third-up and can show more. REIGN OF POWER (8) debuts for Jack Bruce and looked the goods easily winning a 1000m trial. A leading jockey sticks from that and a bold effort is likely. SALAMANCAS (10) also profiles well for his debut.

RACE 2 - ALREADY A STAR (3) resumes and just missed at Eagle Farm three-back his only fresh outing. Was better again the two after and brings a nice trial. Has an awkward gate but gets Thompson. IT'SMEMARIO (8) threatened at Doomben first-up and then the Sunshine Coast and pulled up with an issue after as favourite at Eagle Farm. Is back after 9 days so all must be in order. Peaks and the blinkers are on for the first time. ASTERN MAGIC (1) resumed on the Gold Coast poly and needed it. He has more to give and draws low. Cahill takes over from the 3kg apprentice. DIANA'S AFFAIR (4) didn't come up last preparation but has the ability and no surprise if if he resumes in good order. Performs fresh and has an inside barrier.

RACE 3 - Very competitive. AIR MARSHAL (1) won the 66 easily first-up before the narrow defeat this grade at the Sunshine Coast. Fitter again and decent chance to bounce. STICK TO YOUR GUNS (5) resumes for a top metro barn and is well placed. Has won 2/4 and has warmed up with a Doomben trial. Likes the trip and rides the speed. Is sure to give a sight. KUDU (3) peaks and has been knocking on the door in stronger city company. Draws low and has the key jockey switch to Thompson. A player. BRAVE WARRIOR (2) has been racing well in better grade at Toowoomba and gets in well with the 3kg claim. Has been freshened and deserves consideration.

RACE 4 - BOOGA RAY (4) quickly found form winning the Maiden at Toowoomba. Will be improved off that and has an inside barrier. Looks capable of taking the next step. MISS MOZAMBIQUE (7) is building nicely. The on-pacer has a low barrier and the blinkers are applied for the first time. Will be fitter again and will get every chance. BEEN A SECRET (3) wasn't fancied on debut but was good after settling rearward from a wide barrier. Will have come on and is a winning hope. SHOT OUT (10) resumes for the Robl yard and missed a nose in a NSW country Maiden before the spell. Draws out but has two trials under her belt and quick improvement wouldn't surprise.

RACE 5 - NITROGEN (3) resumes for Chris Anderson and has switched from Godolphin's Melbourne yard. Can win this at best and has the tongue tie on for the first time. Has trialled at Eagle Farm and has an advantageous gate. The late betting moves should tell the story. RISE ANGELOU (16) returned to racing with a solid run at the Sunshine Coast. She's in the premier barn and is well-bred. The longer sprint should suit and rates a live chance. WHATTA WHITT (17) resumes and is capable of using an inside gate. His figures read well for this and Cahill is a positive jockey booking. LOADED GUN (2) disappointed as favourite at Warwick but came into that with upward momentum. Has a wide gate but the blinkers come off and he can do better at a price.

RACE 6 - TRUE PATRIOT (4) resumed further improved beaten a short head and then just a run at Warwick after in a CL2 drawn wide over 1500m. Draws low today and back to the sprint will suit better. A form hoop goes in and the gelding should take beating. PENDING (6) switched from a Sydney yard narrowly beaten at the Sunshine Coast. He will be giving most a start but the extra metres will suit and fitter he's a chance. SINGER SARGENT (3) resumes and has switched from the Fogden to the Bruce yard. The form prior to the latest reads well and Thompson is a positive jockey switch. No surprise to see him feature. DRAGON PINS (9) got very close at Warwick and will be in the finish with a repeat of that effort.

RACE 7 - Tricky. THE RIGHT WAY (1) won the Maiden first-up and has been around the mark the three starts since. Was heavily beaten at Toowoomba last time over this distance and he will race forward from the rails gate. Keeps the 2kg claim and should go close. TRIPLE CITIZEN (7) has been around the mark her last two in stronger class and a 3kg claimer goes on. She should get her chance. MAPLE DOOR (5) got a lot closer at Gatton and Thompson is a key jockey switch. He looks the other genuine winning hope.

RACE 8 - ORIGINAL GLAZE (2) was narrowly beaten here in a 70 and then lifted her figures in a CL6 at Doomben. Her best came here this distance and she's ready to run the extra metres. Has a handy 2kg claim and is on a 6-day return. ROCKIN' ARTIE (5) bounced straight back just missing here in the 65 over this distance. That stacks right up and he'll get every chance racing forward. SPIRIT'S CHARM (11) went close at Gatton at the mile showing more like her best and she's in the mix. EXPECTANT (3) may be best of the rest and goes into the trifectas.
