FLEMINGTON

2nd: Pride Of Jenni (Declan Bates/Ciaron Maher) - $3.60
3rd: Atishu (Blake Shinn/Chris Waller) - $4.80

Margins: Long Head x 1¾L

Beaten jockey comments:

Craig Williams (Mr Brightside): "He's still an amazing horse. He tried his heart out. I'm pretty sure that this race will have been run at a pretty quick tempo to compare with all the other times in 10 furlong Group 1 races, so sometimes some horses can appreciate and endure that. The winner did, Atishu did. My horse was closest to Pride Of Jenni in the run. Most importantly he pulls up safe. He's in great hands with the Hayes boys and hopefully he will continue on with his preparation."

Billy Egan (Vow And Declare): "Another super consistent run. As he has been at his last few preps, he can go to Queensland again and be competitive."

Mark Zahra (Dom To Shoot): "No good."

Damian Lane (Young Werther): "I put him in the race and probably on that speed he couldn't hold that gallop. He was honest, but at the time they've run, that's about where he is against those horses."

Jamie Mott (Esti Feny): "He probably raced a little bit closer than what I anticipated, but overall I think he was disappointing."

Declan Bates (Pride Of Jenni): "She's run super as usual. She was very brave. Just over that distance I would have liked to have come back a bit more. She's used to doing her usual thing, so we worked with her as best we could and it turned out well. I feel like going forward over this distance and going forward next year she will be even better over this distance."

Blake Shinn (Atishu): "She ran really, really well. It was a great race. They ran quick from the start to the end. She got into a good spot behind Mr Brightside. She presented to win, it was just the tempo of the race that really took our turn of foot out of her. She's really a great mare. She run well. A really great third."

Michael Dee (Legarto): "She felt a little bit flat today, so maybe she's looking for a bit of a break now."

ROSEHILL

Group 1 - Vinery Stud Stakes (3yo F SW - 2000m)

Race Result:

1st: Orchestral (R James & R Wellwood/J McDonald) - $1.60F
2nd: Tutta La Vita (C Waller/N Rawiller) - $11
3rd: Zardozi (J Cummings/T Marquand) - $4.40

Winning Time: 2:03.65 Last 600m: 33.88

Margins: ½L x ¾L

Beaten jockey comments:

Tom Marquand (Zardozi): "She has run great. Obviously would have loved a bit more pace. I thought when Nash sprung it on, it might help us that last 100m but the winner is a very good filly. Looking forward to a couple of weeks"

Rachel King (Kimochi): "2000m just a bit far."

Nash Rawiller (Tutta La Vita): "Wonderful effort. She really showed her staying prowess today. I felt like at the half mile when the pace slowed again, I thought well if I sit where I am I know I am in the perfect spot, but I am giving away the advantage I have got throughout the race. Nearly stole it. Good effort."

Tyler Schiller (Queen Of Dragons): "Good jump for her today. I thought she went really well. Travelled keenly up to the 2000m but I thought she got through her gears well when the pressure came on."

Tommy Berry (Mare Of Mt Buller): "Lovely filly. Just might be a winter horse coming a little bit too quick for her."

Dylan Gibbons (Our Gold Hope): "Tried her guts out. Just travelled too good for that trip."

Jason Collett (Piplup): "She's done well for a filly coming out of maiden grade. Hit the line nicely."

Noriyuki Masuda (True Fairy): "Super run. Only five starts and still improving."

Group 1 - Kia Tancred Stakes (3yo+ WFA - 2400m)

Race Result:

1st: Kalapour (K Lees/D Gibbons) - $31
2nd: More Felons (C Waller/J McDonald) - $6
3rd: Ashrun (C Maher/J Collett) - $6

Winning Time: 2:28.91 Last 600m: 34.83

Margins: Long Head x 1½L

Beaten jockey comments:

Tommy Berry (Buckaroo): "I was happy the first half of the race following the favourite but he just didn't take us into the race so made our task pretty hard."

Adam Hyeronimus (Military Mission): "Yep he is going fantastic."

Jason Collett (Ashrun): "He settled comfortably. Pace when it was injected was good. Just  struggled around that turn then just to pick up again difficult."

James McDonald (More Felons): "Super run."

Tom Marquand (Post Impressionist): "I would love to have changed the pattern of the race half way around and been 2x2x2 rather than 1x1x1 but ultimately it was super hard to back up a week after a long layoff and for good reason. He went to take one step in and that was the only step forward he took into the race. He's proven he is a good horse last week. Today was always a risk but one worth trying. Didn't come off."

Chad Schofield (Bois D'argent): "Good run."

Tyler Schiller (Athabascan): "Great run. I thought he was very strong late which is what we wanted see going forward to the Sydney Cup."
