“Antino will probably be my third pick, he’s going fantastic,” Hunter told SENTrack and RSN’s Giddy Up.
“Can he win the race?
“I’m gonna say no because I’m going with two chances.”

“Yes,” Hunter said.
“It is (a difficult gate), he (jockey James McDonald) is going to have, you’d think, Golden Path as your first leader.
“Whether a horse like Half Yours cuts them off and gets down to the fence and forces them one back, then he’s in an awkward spot.
“But (J-Mac) is not a bad rider.”

“Half Yours has been beaten in two benchmark races in its last four runs.
“He’s got 56kg, he’s getting 1kg off Via Sistina.
“Half Yours is absolutely flying and a very good horse, but can it run well in a Caulfield Cup?
“I don’t think he can win this race.”

“Yes.”

“I think (Aeliana’s) an each-way living certainty here,” Hunter said.
“I just can’t see how she misses here.
“The obvious danger is Via Sistina - she won the race last year, she’s gonna get better and better.
“She had no hope at all the way the race was run in the Makybe Diva.
“Yes, J-Mac’s gonna be buried how far back he gets.
“I’m banking on Aeliana just beating Via Sistina.
“Aeliana I think is an each-way certainty and Via Sistina is your obvious danger.”
Via Sistina is currently the $2.40 favourite (on Sportsbet) and Aeliana is the equal second favourite with Sir Delius at $4.80.
