$6.50. Has been OK at last two runs and this has no depth to it, if he can slot in and get a soft first half he will be strong on the way home, he needs luck in running.

SCONE

Race 3 | 2. Bluebird Bay

$8.50. This is easier than what he has contested and he is strong at the mile, should stride forward from the wide draw and be up there for a long way he can give a sight.

ROMA

Race 3 | 8. Maeve

$5. These are very slow and this mare has upside as she has only had 12 starts and has been a winner at the track before, Les will jump on the bunny and go forward, should get the money, all the best punters!

Race 3 | 17. Bold Bordeaux

Nice trial winner and the horse he beat, Esmahli, came out and bolted in last Monday at Mornington. Looks a nice professional horse and should win on debut unless it does a lot wrong. $2.60.

SCONE

Race 2 | 3. Territory Style

Debut good, then nearly won second up before unusual placement last start. Went to town on a Wednesday and went up to 1400m and around at $200/1. Back to provicials and 1000m I think is the key today. Short but should win $2.10.

ROMA

Race 5 | 11. Ablett

Is a Roma/1000m specialist the little master. Drawn wide but jumps from 10 after scratchings. Open race but has speed to burn and hasn't been beaten far last few outings. $5.
