Sam Hyland

KYNETON

Race 7 | 5. Cash Converter

$4.40. Is ready to step up and score here, he is a very honest horse and is ready for the step up to the seven furlongs here, he can put himself positive in the run at this trip and should give a great sight.

HAWKESBURY

Race 7 | 2. Empress Of Japan

$4.80. Has been effective fresh before and has looked good in her trials to have her forward for this, a hot tempo will be in her favour and she can be rounding the race off well.

ORANGE

Race 5 | 4. Drunken Sailor

$5.50. Is ready to wobble home here, he is deep in the preparation and hard fit and he is back in his right class, Blinkers off which is unusual at start 22 but who am I to question such a move, he will be coming on from the rear so good speed is what he will want.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 5 | 4. Moscow City

$2.15. Is short but should be too good, he has speed and hasn’t been far away down south, a lot of exposed form here and they look like a bunch of Billie goats so surely he can outrun these, all the best punters!

HAWKESBURY

Race 1 | 3. The Big Blue

Ran a clear career peak last start when rising significantly in trip from the 1500m to 1900m. Back to the 1800m is no concern, he maps to land on-speed and retains the services of Zac Lloyd. D-day for him, but a repeat of last start wins this with ease.

Race 6 | 7. Caesar

Impressed on debut, running good time in a race that has produced four winners and seven placegetters from 18 runs. Gets Tim Clark aboard and has had two trials in readiness for this. Will take significant improvement from his first preparation, looks a progressive enough type and can prove that today.

Race 7 | 8. Magic Speed

Three-year-old filly with plenty of upside, she was very good over 900m at Queanbeyan, which hardly screams superstar, but the style in which she won was good. She looks far better suited out to the 1100m on a more spacious track.
