Saturdayβs racing across Caulfield and Randwick saw some massive wins by several horses.
From Sir Delius winning his first Group 1 to Birdman edging out Adelaide River, the day had plenty of fantastic stories.

Sir Delius has now firmly established himself as the Melbourne Cup favourite, winning the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) in impressive fashion.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained bay flew home at the 400m mark and denied Buckaroo from winning back-to-back Underwood Stakes.

Half Yours won the Group 3 Naturalism Stakes (2000m), establishing himself as a real Caulfield Cup threat.
At the 200m Half Yours bolted home, proving he has what it takes to win the 2400m Caulfield Cup.

In an exceptional display of grit, Birdman and Adelaide River were in a class of their own, battling one another for the Group 3 Kingston Town Stakes (2000m).
