CAULFIELD

Race 4 | 2. Tentyris

Can turn the tables on Mcgaw here as he strips fitter for his first up run as hit the line solid enough. Steps up to a more suitable trip where he just missed out winning the Diamond last prep and he will get last crack at them after just sitting off the pace.

Race 5 | 1. Austmarr (value)

Was sent out fav first up in what has turned out to be a very good form race. She did pull up with an issue and wasn’t at her best as she went back to the trials. She can bounce back here and is a good each-way play.

Race 6 | 1. Rey Magnerio

Resumes and is ready to go off his trials. He won the G2 Rubiton Stakes here first up last prep and there is no reason he can’t win this. Flies fresh, hardly runs a bad race and all wins have come on good tracks.

Race 7 | 1. Apocalyptic

Is a star on the up and the only way she gets beat here if she struggles to go Melbourne way which I doubt will happen or bad luck. Draws well and she should just take a seat behind the leaders.

RANDWICK

Race 2 | 2. South Of Spain

Was beaten by Royal Supremacy who turned the tables on him in the Metrop last start and is a chance in the CC. He has to go close as he’s in career best form. You would think only the Haggis horse could beat him but his best with jar out of the track.

Race 10 | 3. Lord Of Biscay (value)

Was too bad to be true last start and I am sticking fat along with J Mac. He not only pulled up lame but had mucus in his airways. Draws good and he deserves another chance.
