Midweek racing from Sandown Hillside and Warwick Farm and we’ve got a horse to follow from each meeting.

The $2.6m sister to Sunlight who is the equal highest-priced yearling filly sold in Australia.

Sandown Hillside Race 1 – She's Got Pizzazz

Very encouraging debut from this Moody & Coleman filly who is a nicely bred type and should be winning soon. She's by Zoustar and a full sister to Group 1 winner Mizzy who stuck to her guns over the 1000m behind one with race experience. They were the first two out and first two home but the time is good against the other 1000m races on the card and with her natural speed she'll win plenty of races.

Warwick Farm Race 3 – Clean Energy

Another very well-bred filly, again by Zoustar, this one being a full sister to Sunlight. She was (understandably) an expensive purchase at $2.6 million which is tied for the most expensive yearling filly purchased in Australia. She's got a ways to go in order to make that purchase price back but has started right, leading throughout to score by two lengths and doing it softly late. Of the three 1000m races on the card, she was clearly the fastest and while she won't go under anyone's radar, she looks to have a very bright future.
