RACE 1 - Compact race to open the card. The penny has dropped for REIGNING ALPHA (1) who has strung two wins together on the bounce this campaign and is racing with a lot of confidence. Gets 2kg weight relief with the claim and should be going very close to bringing up the hat-trick. TIPSY TIGER (4) was an impressive winner on debut when well in the betting and must be respected from the Gollan barn. Looms as the main danger. THAT'S INTERESTING (5) has won two of her past three and strips fitter second-up from the spell. In the mix. MISHANI STORM (2) has a win and a placing from two attempts at the trip and looks one for the exotics players.

RACE 2 - Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade PARTY ISLAND (9) has hit the frame at her past two outings over this sprint journey at Ipswich and looks to be nearing a maiden victory. Marshall sticks in the irons and should be in this for a long way. STATE IN TEXAS (3) was well found on debut when just missing the placings and where there's smoke there's fire. Can improve enough to take this out. KIRRA'S SISTER (4) finished runner-up over this trip on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that day at the races. Top-three commodity. ROTHWEILER (2) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. MISHANI DEVINE (7) gets well in at the weights with the claim and may earn some minor money.

RACE 3 - VESPER LYND (9) wasn't disgraced at Ipswich on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Has since won a trial on the Sunny Coast and a fine return would not surprise. DIBBA DOBBA (7) is consistent without winning hitting the top-five in all eight career starts to date. Has to be included. DEMES GIRL (13) will be rock-hard fit for this and can feature if she brings her A-game. PRINCESS LUTETIA (15) strips fitter second-up from the spell, gets some weight off and draws the inside alley. Ticks a few boxes.

RACE 4 - CHASING JACKLEY (1) has a win and a placing from two attempts around this circuit and gets some weight off from the inside alley. May show sharp improvement and in a thin race he appeals as much as any. SON OF SAMPSON (2) has hit the top-five in all six runs this campaign and is usually thereabouts. A must for the exotics players. ABOVE THE SKY (6) was a touch flat last start but go on the solid win over this course and distance two back. Worth another chance. OPAQUELY (12) next in line.

RACE 5 - MUST BE THE MONEY (13) only narrowly went down at Dalby last start and strikes a very winnable contest here. Winning hoop Sykes sticks and again gets the benefit of his 2kg claim. Should give this a mighty shake. SOCIAL STAR (7) doesn't win out of turn but has a handy place strikerate and will be at peak fitness for this. Great hope to trouble the judge. TEE AMICI (1) failed last time out but go on the strong Gatton win two back. Worth another chance. SUMMER STAR (15) resumes here but tuned up for this with a recent trial and can run a race while fresh. PRIMARY WITNESS (3) best of the rest.

RACE 6 - EXPLOSIVE DRAGON (1) has hit the frame at his past couple of Toowoomba outings and looks to be improving with racing. Hails from an astute yard and should be right there at the business end. AIKAU (11) was thereabouts in all three runs before being tipped out for time to mature. Gets 2kg off with the claim and can return in winning order. SUENITO (4) didn't measure up in town at the latest effort but will find this assignment much more to his liking. Worth another look. Former NSW galloper QUALITY MISS (10) is having her first run for the new stable and any market confidence must be noted. PROISETTE (16) gets in well at the weights with the claim and may earn some minor money.

RACE 7 - SARSEN (7) resumes here but was in good form before the spell and this is not an overly strong affair. Draws the inside marble with the claim and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. LITTLE SPARK (15) got the maiden out of the way last time out and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that victory. Sykes sticks and again gets 2kg off from the favourable draw. Has to be included. EVERSTAR (4) is another last-start winner who can go right on with the job now. In the mix. ASHILLA (9) has hit a rich vein of form of late and cannot be discounted. GRANNY'S REWARD (5) strips fitter second-up from the break and shapes as one to consider.

RACE 8 - Race thins with scratchings and sets the stage for LES GIRLS (10) to break through and get some reward for good effort. Has been racing consistently hitting the top-four in five of her past six outings. Gets Stanley on top and should pose a serious threat. JUBILANT (6) is seen as the main danger. Concedes a fitness edge but ran really well first up last prep. FIRST GRANGE (5) made progress finishing midfield last start at Nanango and is up in distance, is worth including at odds. QICKWIT (8) can be next best with the win two back worth considering.

RACE 9 - DANTE ALIGHIERI (10) has been thereabouts in all three races this preparation and will be at peak fitness now fourth-up from the spell. Boasts a win over this distance range and should give backers a sight. ALL ABOUT LEWIS (7) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have taken a stack of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Definitley worth including. BULL DIMPLE RUM (5) has placed four from four at this track and strips fitter second-up from the break. Can improve enough to feature in the outcome.
