Looks too sharp for this lot. PEROVIC (5) mixing his form of late and go on his strong win at Lismore three starts back when assessing his chances. Bred to get the extra trip and the drop in weight helps. SIR ZINO (9) record hardly excites and on the quick back-up after finishing seventh over 1900m at the Gold Coast Poly on August 17. Can run into the minor money. I'MTIMMYZOU (8) total forgive from the wide draw when 13th over 2220m at Grafton on August 20. Will appreciate the rain-affected going and has a good record at this track.
RACE 2 - THREE GRACES (8) back in trip for this and looks to find her right race. Finished second over this track and trip two-back before jumping in trip when fourth over 2170m at Ipswich on July 5. Kept fresh and will prove hard to hold out. HIGH CLASS ROLLER (3) looked good on debut two-back, before failing to get into the contest when ninth over 1400m at Beaudesert on August 12. Expecting more today and look for him late. CASEBOLT (2) a win looks imminent after running on late when fourth over 1120m at Lismore on August 5. Extra trip suits and has genuine each way claims. OK THEN (6) expecting more here after having no luck from the wide gate when ninth over 1320m at Lismore two-and-a-half weeks ago. Extra distance helps and can race closer fro the good gate.
RACE 3 - DAIMYO (6) only the one win from 16 starts after scoring two back at Grafton on July 17. Stalked the speed when an even seventh over 1000m at Kempsey on July 30. Well placed here with the claim. WRITTEN FAME (3) is starting to build a good record and is fitter after one run back. Closed off strongly on resumption when a narrow second over 1210m at Lismore on July 26. Races well at this track and trip and looks set for a good prep. BRAVELY (1) classy gelding from the Dunn yard resuming. Big jump in class when 15th over 1400m in the LR Daybreak Lover Plate at Eagle Farm on April 20. Fitter for two recent trials and comes to hand quickly. Look for him late. FIGMENT (4) improving mare who went quickly through her grades resuming. Having her first start for the David McColm stable and recent 1050m trial was full of merit. Senior rider on and gets her chance from the low draw.
RACE 4 - CAVAUP (2) is set to peak third-up after running on late when third over 1200m at Coffs Harbour on August 2. Back in grade today from the good gate. Will sit on the speed and prove hard to hold out. BOY LOVES TO RUN (1) racing well and boxed on steadily from the wide gate when third over 1400m at Casino on August 10. Gets control early fro the good gate and can play a leading role. FAT FINGERS (6) on the quick back-up when a fighting third over 1900m at Casino on August 10. Fitness can take her a long way here. DIVAZINO (5) settled in a rearward position on resumption from the outside gate and failed to get into the contest when tenth over 1350m at Ipswich on August 9. Goes well here and improvement is expected.
RACE 5 - DESERT COUGAR (6) sound debut when a fast finishing third over 1100m at the Gold Coast Poly on July 27. Strips fitter now and looks one of the main players. GLEBE (7) showed ability in town last time in and returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Fitted with two 1000m trials and look for her late from the sticky gate. Must be kept safe. STAVRITZEL (4) third-up for this and ready to win. Ran on late from the wide gate when third over 1100m at Ipswich on August 9. Genuine contender. DANCING TONY (11) three-year-old gelding by Exceed And Excel out of Windradyne on debut for the Blanch yard. Only the one trial at Rosehill at Rosehill on June 11. Can sprint well fresh.
RACE 6 - SURFERS ROYALE (4) is racing in a rich vein of form and drops in weight today from the good gate. Taken to the front and never headed when a narrow winner over 1200m at Doomben on July 31. Brings the right figures to win again. STARZAM (3) resumes from a 12-week spell and is now in the Matthew Dunn yard. Raced in solid company last prep and has a good first-up record. Not asked to do much in a recent trial and will be charging late. MAJORELLE (1) back in grade on resumption when leading throughout for a slick win over 1100m at Ipswich on August 2. Goes just as well second-up and the Dunn stable has several leading chances. LADY WARDELL (6) a month between runs when sitting on the speed for a gritty third over 1200m at Doomben in F&M Bm78 on August 17. Can win this with the claim.
RACE 7 - CRANKY HARRY (7) saluted at Randwick two runs ago, and is racing in career-best form. Returned good sectionals late when fifth over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast on August 10. Trained on the track and maps to get the right run. SAILOR (8) tough gelding hard fit for this. Gave his all with the 57.5kg when a gritty winner over 1600m at Warwick Farm on July 31. Down further in weight for this and has a good record over this trip. Group 3 placegetter LORD ARDMORE (1) is a tough old gelding holding his form. Strong late when sixth over 1630m at Doomben on August 3. The chances don't end there. Group 2 placegetter CAPRICE DES DIEUX (2) travelled wide in the run and kept finding when fourth in the Coffs Harbour Cup over 1600m on August 2. Represents good each way value.
RACE 8 - EVERLASTING STARS (9) has a solid third-up record and is ready for the 1200m now after running on late when fourth over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast on August 4. Claim helps and look for her charging late. MEAN APPROACH (2) has returned a much stronger gelding this time in and comes out of a strong form race after finishing a narrow second over 1200m at Doomben on July 27. A repeat of latest will see him hard to hold out. EDGE OF SEVENTEEN (3) improving Snitzel mare who got off the mark at start five when a tough winner over 1120m at Lismore on August 5. Confidence is high now but will need luck from the draw. GURU CLASS (6) at her peak now and back in class after finishing third over 1200m at Doomben on August 7. Maps well and expected to go close.
