SOMERSET JESSE (8) delivered a moderate run last time when fourth at Albion Park over 331m behind Shian Storm (19.78). Should be in this for a long way. WHISKEY SIPPER (1) profiles well and boxed nicely for his debut. Can sneak into the finish on debut. BLUE SMARTIE (2) is a Matt Bourke-trained newcomer by My Bro Fabio out of Grianne. No public trials. Can sneak into the frame at his first appearance.
RACE 2 - SNEAKY PETE (2) jumped from the middle and showed promise on debut, filling a minor placing at this track over 431m (26.03). Expecting significant improvement this line-up. SPRING NED (1) recorded a 4.5 lengths third in a Maiden last time 25.49 at this track and trip and also jumping from the same draw. Harder here but expected to feature again. UNIVERSAL DANCER (8) can keep on winning after quick last start success, claiming a Maiden at this track over 431m in 25.18. Harder here but expected to feature again. WHISKEY CARTEL (4) placed here at this trip last start - cannot be ignored.
RACE 3 - DISH FOR DASH (1) looks close to another win after finishing second last time (25.47) in a Novice race at this track. Key chance in this line up. DAINTREE PEGGY (8) was in winning form two back (22.50) at Traralgon but ran below best last time at Bendigo, finishing 7th. Solid formlines coming through her last run. Bold showing expected. DIVORCE PAPERS (2) turned in a better effort at this track last start, finishing third behind New Beginning (25.68) in a Novice race. The form out of last run is most impressive. Expected to feature again. PERCY TWO (6) has claims fresh from a recent placing.
RACE 4 - WORKMAN LIKE (3) has been out of the placings last two but prior to that produced a speedy 25.15 win over 431m at this track. Has the ability and expected to go close again. SHOWTIME ARCHIE (8) made light work of a wide draw last time with a slick early sectional but gathered in and had to settle for the minors, finishing third (25.52) at this track over 431m. Some good form is emerging from his last run. Leading player again. NANA MARIE (1) doesn't win out of turn but looks close to breaking through. Finished third (25.83) at this track last time making it two minors on end. Has a good record at this journey. Leading chance. FLAMING CURACAO (5) picked up a cheque over this course and distance most recently - in the mix again.
RACE 5 - MINTER FORMULA (1) goes very well here starting 38 times for 14 wins and 11 minors. Hit the frame latest (25.54) when second at this track in a Best 8. Looks the one to beat with even luck. FERNANDO GRAND (3) has a strong record this trip with eight wins and eight placings from 20 starts. Hit the frame latest (20.19) when second at Capalaba in a Other. Can hit the frame with the right run. MODERN SWINGER (8) recorded a 2 length win (19.71) in a Best 8 last time at Capalaba. Has two wins already from this draw. With even luck and a clean start can sneak into the finish. PHANTOM JASPER (2) was in the money last time at Capalaba (19.70) in a Grade 2/3, finishing a 0.8 lengths third. Has four wins already from this draw.
RACE 6 - RYLEE'S RIVER (6) used the inside draw to advantage last time and hit the ground running with a fast early split, but could manage only the minor money when a 3.5 lengths third at this track over 520m in 31.00. Good form should continue. TAABINGA TIGER (1) comes off an average effort last start when eighth at this track over 431m behind Benny Boy (26.34) in a Grade 5. One of the better hopes. CLIPPED (8) goes very well this course and distance starting five times for two wins and two minors. Recorded a 4 length win (25.38) in a Novice race last time at this track. Suited here and expected to run well. MORRISETTE (7) has been freshened and can sneak into the frame on his best form.
RACE 7 - SUPPOSE (7) was a little disappointing last start at Rockhampton when 6th (24.34) over 407m. Is yet to taste defeat in two starts this course and distance. The form out of her last race has been franked. Has winning claims on her best figures. CRYPTO QUEEN (1) has been mixing form lately, hitting the frame two back before finishing eighth (25.93) at this track in a Grade 5. Well placed here and should do much better. VELOCITY YIN (2) doesn't have the best strike-rate. Finished second (19.76) at Albion Park latest and might be close to finding winning form again. Has a good record here at this journey. Expected to feature. TESSA DENMARK (8) returns from a five weeks layoff and must be included.
RACE 8 - MY HOLIDAY FUND (1) was safely held last time out, finishing seventh at this track over 520m behind Quicker Sophie (31.52) in a Grade 5. Was a winner prior to that. Rates on top in this line up. SPONGE KISSES (2) was out of placings last time (23.56) at Albion Park in a Best 8, finishing eighth and beaten 10 lengths. Has two wins already from this draw. Looks one of the chances. CONTAGIOUS (7) shapes as hard to beat after winning last start over the 431m at this track in a respectable 25.17. Harder here but expected to measure up. COME ON JO (6) should be thereabouts despite an unplaced run here most recently.

BEDROCK (1) was impressive last time, posting an effortless 5 lengths win in taking a Grade 5 in 25.32 and a new Best time this course and distance. Bold showing expected again. SALIERI (5) turned in a fair 4th placed finish last time at Capalaba over 366m (20.02). Consistent performer from this draw with a win and two minor placings to his credit. Cannot be left out. MUSCOVITE MICA (8) dominated last start. That form reads well.
RACE 10 - BON FLAME (4) is in sizzling form lately, rocketing around Albion Park in 30.10 to score two back then following on with a 30.58 win over 520m at Albion Park. Can measure up again if runs up to recent times. SPECIAL BAZ (5) has a strong record here including two wins from three starts. Missed the frame latest (31.36) when fourth over 520m at this track in a Grade 5. Can feature with the right run. TAKING SOULS (1) hit the ground running from out wide with a fast early sectional but run over late and missed the frame when a 2 length fifth (25.52) over 431m at this track. Can measure up this time. KINGSBRAE ALICE (6) was in the money last start and likely to feature again.
RACE 11 - CLEAN CUT (7) posted a useful 25.15 winning over 431m at this track last start in a Grade 5. Hard to top on the time from last start. CHILL PILL JILL (3) found the going tougher last start when finishing 7th over 520m at Albion Park. Was a winner the start prior in easier at Capalaba. The form from her last run stacks up well. Cannot be taken lightly. LOTTIE BEAR (2) has been in the frame at her last two runs, most recently when third (25.88) in a Grade 5 over 431m at this track. Rates a winning chance on best. BLUE BEATTIE (1) was out of the money here last time out but can bounce back.
RACE 12 - CONTRACT (2) turned in a modest effort most recently when sixth at Albion Park over 331m behind Leaping Lucille (19.80) in a Mix 5. One of the main contenders. SPRING ROCK (3) put in a much better performance last start when in the placings at this track behind Hilde (25.57) in a Mix 5. Must be included in calculations. SHELL AND SEA (8) gets a chance to improve on an unplaced run at her latest outing at this circuit.
