Geelong will be without ace forwards Jeremy Cameron and Tom Hawkins as they look to get back on track against Gold Coast Suns.
The Cats' seven-match winning streak has come to a grinding halt following back-to-back defeats and they need a response against their hosts in Darwin.
However, they will have to do it without Cameron, who is suffering from concussion, while Hawkins looks set to be rested after a busy run.
Geelong are 7.00 to win the grand final, but they need to stay in the top four at the very least if they are to go all the way and that makes the clash in Darwin even bigger.
Gold Coast are struggling to string back-to-back wins together, but will get another chance on Thursday night.
The Suns have set their sights on making the top eight and playing finals this season and are priced at 3.50 to do just that.

Suns need to find consistency
Gold Coast head into the game against the Cats on the back of an impressive win over North Melbourne and will be out to build on that.
They beat the Kangaroos by 68 points and should take a heap of confidence in to the clash against Geelong.
The Suns have had no issues when seeing off North Melbourne, West Coast Eagles and Hawthorn, but have struggled against the better sides.
They have come unstuck against Sydney and Brisbane Lions and will be keen to make a statement against the Cats.
The Suns did beat the Cats by 19 points last season, but it was on the Gold Coast, not at TIO Stadium in Darwin.
Damien Hardwick's side can be backed at 7.00 to win by 13-24 points on this occasion, which would be a huge win.
Ben King was in form against the Roos at the weekend when booting three goals and he can be backed at 9.50 to boot the first against Geelong.
Geelong need to bounce back
Geelong have been stopped in their tracks following defeats to Melbourne and Port Adelaide and need to bounce back.
Both losses were tight, losing by eight to the Demons and then by six to the Power on Friday night.
To make matters worse, gun forward Jeremy Cameron suffered a concussion against Port Adelaide and will be forced to sit out in Darwin.
With Hawkins also set to be rested, a lot of the responsibility will rest on the shoulder of small forward Tyson Stengle.
They should be in good hands as Stengle booted four goals against Port Adelaide to take his tally for the season to 18.
Stengle can be backed at 10.00 to kick the first goal of the game or 1.09 to score at anytime, while Geelong can be backed at 6.00 to win the clash by 1-12 points.
