Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Grafton, Quirindi, Warrnambool and Townsville.

GRAFTON: RACE 2 @ 11:55 AM

SPIRITCHASER (1) Matt Dunn-trained mare resuming after a break of five-and-a-half months. Showed her ability on the provincial circuit last time in and has since been fitted with two sharp trials. Has the figures to take this out first-up from the good draw. MORE ELEMENTS (5) is another from the Matt Dunn yard resuming. Showed potential last time in and looks forward enough for this with two 1050m trials under his belt. Expected to sprint well fresh. CARBROOK (2) six-start maiden with his hoof on the till. Anchored with the big weight when ran on late to finish fourth over 1030m here on April 9. Claim helps and will need a bit of luck from the gate. WEE KAHUNA (11) showed ability last time in and resumes today from the good draw. Finished fourth in a recent 946m trial at Grafton on April 14. Can play a leading role.
SELECTIONS: Spiritchaser to win.

QUIRINDI: RACE 3 @ 2:10 PM

TAYLA THE SAILOR (11) resumes and has placed 2/2 fresh. Brings a solid trial hitout and races well at this track/trip. Will likely drift back from the rail but McLellan stays aboard and can present her late. FULL COMMITMENT (8) had good support at Beaumont Newcastle but was found wanting late. She will present at full fitness and has finally been dealt an inside barrier. She's been kept on the fresh side and has decent claims. DEVOTED DEPUTY (2) missed a whisker at Armidale and will be better for it. A winning chance but an outside barrier needs managing. POWERSTONE (7) peaks off three narrow defeats. Running out a strong 1200m is the niggle with her.
SELECTIONS: Tayla The Sailor appeals.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 4 @ 1:15 PM

DIMORA QUEEN (12) resumes having run well on debut six months ago, beaten one length over 1200m at this track. Looks a set play to bring her here and that form should hold up nicely. CAPZINZI (11) led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 0.8 lengths away in second over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside. This suits and she'll be hard to catch again. ALL THE WAY BABY (10) resumes having run second in both runs last time in. Respect. DARTS DALY (5) was beaten a neck on debut at Hamilton and must be respected.
SELECTIONS: Dimora Queen to win.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 1 @ 1:20 PMI

'LLTELLYOUGO (4) finished runner-up on debut and then won her next 2 starts before going for a spell. She resumes with a couple of trials under her belt, winning the latest of those by a whopping 7.5 lengths. She benefits from a 3-kilo claim and is the one to beat fresh up. SILVER GLITTER (2) has won 2 of her 3 starts this prep and could have the fitness edge over the top pick. She can secure the run of the race from the pole position and will definitely be in the fight to the line here. DUBIOUS AUTHORITY (6) won her only public trial before leading all the way to score on debut at Mackay last December. Justin P Stanley keeps the ride fresh up and she can't be totally ruled out of winning again. THAT'S IT (1) showed plenty of potential in his initial prep and will be even better in this campaign. He has to give weight to some handy fillies but should still give a good account of himself fresh up.
SELECTIONS: I'lltellyougo to win.
