RACE 1 - SUPER QUEEN (9) took on the WA Oaks last start and was well out of her depth there. She looks better suited coming back to this grade and despite being well beaten, her past couple of figures are right up to winning this event. Strikes the right race and can shed the maiden tag. APOGEE (3) was only fair on resumption at Pinjarra but does improve second-up and he gets the blinkers on first time today. Looks a genuine stayer and the inside draw can see him handy in running. Fitter now and can make his presence felt. BLACK SANDS (6) steps right out in trip now third-up which creates interest. Out of a stable known for their handling of stayers, he's in good hands especially with Chris Parnham in the irons. Can improve. BAYWATCH BOY (5) well appreciate getting back to this company and out tot his trip for the first time can see him in the finish.

RACE 2 - MISS FLIRTACIOUS (4) was very impressive on debut despite jumping a 40-1 shot, finishing just 1.5L off the winner. The form out of that stood up and she's looked good in her recent trials coming into this. Drawn ideally and will take plenty of beating. SCHNOOTS (7) has had a few goes now but was solid in tougher company at the end of her last campaign. Fitter for a recent trial, she can be effective at this trip on the fresh side and be the testing material. ALREADY RICH (1) has been fair at the trials but strikes a suitable race on debut. The race lacks depth and 3YO with upside could be the one to land the knockout blow. Worth keeping on side. DIEGO DYNAMITE (3) looks best of the rest.

RACE 3 - DELTA ANNE (7) was good at this track and trip two back when favourite before dropping back to 1500m and holding her own. Out to this distance again looks to hold the key and she'll be suited by the inside barrier. Racing well and gets her chance now. HIGHBOY (4) just missed when leading from the front over 1500m at York and that form ties in through Delta Anne. She does meet that runner a touch worse at the weights, but she's raced well at this track and trip before and maps for an easy lead from the alley. Winning hope. FUEL THE FRIAR (8) steps right out in trip now third-up into the campaign. She comes through a hot form race at Geraldton where she never got a chance. She goes well third-up and if she can get back to her best figures, she's in this up to her eyes. CHERRY CAN RUN (5) steps out in trip for the first time and has claims if she can match her recent figures. JOLLY ODD (3) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back.

RACE 4 - CRYSTAL VAIN (1) won the Provincial Champs heat at York last time out and looks the one to beat yet again. ZJP takes 2kgs off and he's won two when riding the gelding previously. Hits this third-up and should get every chance from the alley. He goes on top from TROPICAL SUN (9) who was 2 lengths off Crystal Vain in the York heat 13 days ago. That form line looks the strongest coming into this race and if she can build on what she did last start, she's right in the finish. IMPOSING BROOK (6) was no match for the first few in the York heat but his form prior to that was superb. May not have handled the quick turnaround there and now with a fortnight between runs he can get back to his best. MAKE YOUR POINT (7) won well at York last time out and rates well in this, he just needs to stretch his form to this journey. DANUBE RIVER (4) rattled home strongly at Albany and has claims.

RACE 5 - JUST FOR MARCUS (1) won impressively over 1300m at York two back before finding them a touch too good on the Scarpside at Pinjarra, but he was right in the market there. His win two back stacks up nicely in this field and the drop back to this trip shouldn't pose an issue. He can return to the winners stall. I'M EUGENE (2) disappointed at Ascot most recently after a handy start to the campaign over 1100m here on March 21. He draws a nice marble this time and ZJP taking 2kgs off comes in handy. Been a while between drinks but this looks a suitable race. WEAPON OF CHOICE (7) was good here 24 days ago, building on his good form from last campaign. He's placed 3/6 at this track and distance and is likely to be right in the finish. WORK HOME FRONT (9) has the pace to cross and lead from the draw and will be in this for a long way. MASTER BUDDHA (3) can improve again third-up and back to this company.

RACE 6 - COCKTAIL PARTY (6) was brilliant first-up at Belmont before tackling Open 3YO company at Ascot most recently. That was a bridge too far but the run holds her in good stead way back in grade today. Should find the font and take plenty of catching. DEMITO (9) sat outside the leader and proved too good over 1100m at Albany most recently. The wide draw may be a little niggle, but she rates well off her last start and rarely puts in a bad effort. IMA WILD GIRL (10) contested plenty of good races last campaign, with her maiden win coming over 1200m at this trip in October. No trials coming in is interesting, but the booking of Parnham suggests she's ready to go. Can play a major role. CHARMING BELLE (8) drops back in trip which is a niggle, but if they overdo it up front she's sure to be strong to the finish. THE ANVIL (4) is better than what he showed last time out and can improve.

RACE 7 - The Narrogin Cup for 2024 and LORD GANNICUS (8) goes on top. He's been superb over the mile in recent starts at Ascot and he now drops down in the weights as he rises to this trip for the first time. Parnham sticking adds to the confidence and if he runs out the trip, he should be winning. Stablemate CRESCENT CITY (1) is one who will appreciate getting out to this trip after winning the Coolgardie Cup a the end of last campaign. Hits this fourth-up and at the peak of his powers. Wide draw doesn't hurt him too much and he'll give a big sight if he's at his best. NEVER SOBER (10) got the job done at Ascot 16 days ago and steps out to this trip for the first time. That is the query, but he rates highly off the last start when and has to be included. DAD'S BIGHEADED (6) is better than he's shown his past couple and can get back to his best as he steps out to this trip. Won't be far away. HOIST THE COLOURS (7) is ticking along nicely and he's not without a chance.

RACE 8 - LUCKY HEART (4) was just too far back to threaten last start over 1500m at York and was a big winner over 1720 at this track the start prior. Expecting him to get back to his best stepping up in distance and he's the one to beat on recent form. BEERMULLAH (7) won well here last time out, scoring by 0.7L over this track and trip in a high-rating effort. He maps to get every chance once again and it wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose. HAFEY (3) is an interesting galloper who rises to this trip for the first time. Big question mark about him running the journey but his form is good enough to be in the finish. ZENIQUE (6) was too good at York in maiden grade and merits plenty of respect.
