RACE 1 - BECAMO (3) finished third as favourite on this course a fortnight ago over 1000 metres and was looking for more ground. He gets his chance here to break through for an overdue win. Follow your money. LEGER CHASE (5) has had plenty of trial experience, including a couple last month, winning the last of those very easily. She is drawn perfectly with a fence to follow and the markets will be an important guide. HOLY FLASH (1) did not get all favours on debut and lost momentum at an important stage of the race. He will have experience on the poly track surface here and is worth another chance from a handy gate. PETERMAN (2) is worth keeping safe.

RACE 2 - ON HOLD (4) only ran out of condition late when running third at Doomben a month ago and will be at her peak fitness for this. She is having her first run on the poly track here but is trained on the course so it won't be an issue. She slides down in class and is perfectly placed to take this out. FASTHEARTBEAT (3) showed plenty of potential during his initial prep by winning 2 of his 4 starts. He is resuming for a new trainer and has the right draw to kick up and hold the front early on. If he doesn't need the run, he can take them all of the way. SPIRIT OF BRODIE (5) built strongly to an easy win on this surface here a week ago, scoring by over a length. He won't find this much harder and also gets James Orman in the saddle. Stick with him. OUR ROCKETMAN (1) won here on a heavy turf track 7 weeks ago and is well placed again in a lower grade this time. He is up 4.5 kilos in weight but is good enough to be an each-way threat again.

RACE 3 - MISHANI FIRE (7) tried hard fresh up in a hot field at the Gold Coast just over 4 weeks ago and did not have the best of runs that day. She strips fitter and having James Orman in the saddle is a strong lead for this assignment. A form reversal is expected. Can win. MISHANI HITMAN (4) is showing ability and does have plenty of natural speed. He is improving his racing manners with racing and was only out-bobbed late here a week ago when finishing second. If this run has not come too soon for him, he will be right in the finish again. BEE TWO (1) is a locally trained gelding making his debut after a very easy Deagon trial win by well over 3 lengths. He is in good hands. VALLEY OF OWLS (11) is an each way hope.

RACE 4 - CAPITAL CHASE (1) cost himself any chance of finishing closer than eighth last start by making a slow start and it is a run that is best overlooked. His third in an even stronger field at Doomben before that was very good and he slides right down in class here. He is drawn perfectly and should get the confidence-boosting win that he has been looking for in this. On top. MODISTE (8) finished third on the turf here in the spring and then was immediately put aside to mature. She has been primed for his return with a tidy recent trial win and with the blinkers on for the first time, she should be right in the finish, despite a wide gate. MISSILE ONE (7) has carried her consistent form from her initial spring prep into this campaign with a solid effort for third when resuming at Ipswich just over 3 weeks ago. She strips fitter and has the right draw to be a solid place chance again. MISHANI TEMPTATION (6) is on the improve and will be peaking third up. Include in all combinations.

RACE 5 - GALACTIC LEGEND (2) is a stablemate of the top pick who recorded an overdue win fresh up at Doomben by a nose. He has been given time to get over that run and now that the penny has dropped, he can go right on with the job. CICCONE (6) ran out of condition fresh up in a stronger field at Eagle Farm. She will find this easier and a better run can be expected. Could be a threat. CARDONE (1) draws well for his second-up run and his lone win came at this distance. Improver. DEAL AN ACE (9) can go well fresh.

RACE 6 - CHANGE THE DEEL (3) is knocking on the door with a couple of narrow defeats to open his current campaign. The step up to a mile third up is ideal and James Orman will negate his wide draw. He is set to go one better here. BREAKING GROUND (1) has been thereabouts since winning his Queensland debut late last year. Include in all combinations. JOE MAMA (4) is racing well with a win and a second at the last two outings and is drawn for a soft run so can make an impact. Last-start winner TORQUE ESPAGNA (11) should play a role again.

RACE 7 - GEMELON BOLT (4) has been battling to find form for some time but is facing his easiest assignment in quite a while. He also has his best draw this prep and can turn his form right around. Each way value in an even lineup. HODGSON (8) has been mixing his form in strong fields lately and is back to his rightful level here. He has winning form on the poly surface here and is expected to be right in the finish. Include in all multiples. KAVAK (2) dropped down to this level at Ipswich just over 4 weeks ago and got the job done by a nose in a tight run to the line that day. He has poly track form and carries the same weight as he did last time out. Another win is not beyond him. AVOLONTE (6) should run well fresh.
