RACE 1 - KARAOKE KING (1) warmed up when the race was all over last start over 1600m at Coonamble. Beaten just 1.3 lengths in a Bm58 over 2000m at Wagga two back which is a better guide to his prospects. Well in after the claim and looks the one to beat in a plain affair. SELVAM (2) comes here off a strange prep, racing at 1400m or less in his last three runs. Gets back and works home well in his races so this is worth a crack. KALPANA (5) is racing well on the picnic circuit, winning twice in a row before finding one better last start over the mile at Bourke. Untried at this trip but going too well to leave out. DEIFIC (7) settled well back before working home in good style to grab third last time out over 2135m at Grafton. Still a maiden but a repeat of that latest effort puts him in the picture. RADIANT GLOW (9) is the best of the others.

RACE 2 - MAD HARRY (1) worked home fairly without threatening last start over 1300m at Taree. The best runs of his five-start career have been at 1400m so going to the mile might be the key. Peak figures certainly good enough to take this out. LAISVAS (8) raced near the speed and battled on well for fourth last time out over 1400m at Coonamble. Has raced four times at this trip for a couple of placings so she comes right under notice. ORCYM BUSBY (2) found the frame for the first time in his career when beaten under a length over this trip at Orange recently. Leading contender with a repeat of that performance. The lightly raced CLEVER COOKIE (4) was fresh from a six-week break when an eye-catching third over 1300m at Canberra last start. Likely improver who should appreciate the extra trip. WELLERMAN (12) shows glimpses of ability but lacks consistency. Each-way chance at odds.

RACE 3 - VINLAGO (4) registered his ninth minor placing from 31 starts when a fast-finishing third over today's trip at Gunnedah last time out. Races well here but may need some luck extracting from the inside draw. Definite contender. HIGH CHARGE (2) closed in good style when resuming in a strong form race over 1100m at this track a month ago. Kept fresh for this shorter trip. Watch for him late. JOYFUL JINK (7) is finding the line well and can sneak into the frame. ALWAYS A SAINT (1) draws well for his return and has upside so can make an impact.

RACE 4 - ONYSPEED (6) looked good when she won on debut over 1100m at Bathurst on 29 February. Stepped up to 1280m at Muswellbrook last time and after settling back in the field made no impression. Worth another chance back over this sharper trip. SHINE YOUR LIGHT (1) returned to form last time out, getting home in good fashion to finish a close second over 1100m at Scone. Goes well at this distance and faces an easier assignment today so she is a clear threat. ROCKIN' EDITION (2) mixes his form but is a genuine hope based on his good effort to finish third here at this trip two runs ago. WHO EVER THOUGHT (4) can progress off the fresh placing.

RACE 5 - SISTERS PICK (2) returned to form last time out when a solid second over 1100m at Coonamble after looking a chance at the top of the lane. Has a wide draw to contend with but has the gate speed to cross. Sure to give a great sight again. MAGIC SHOT (8) started favourite but didn't quicken as hoped when out of the placings first-up at Armidale. Finished third over this trip at Tamworth at the same stage last prep. In the mix. PLENITUDE (9) was caught on a limb and did a fair job in the circumstances at Coonamble recently. Won here last season and from a good gate can play a major role. EILRAHC (14) is racing well without winning and is worth including in exotics.

RACE 6 - WARIALDA WARRIOR (7) was hard to miss first-up over 1400m at Scone, passing the majority of the field in the straight to finish a close second. Finished midfield in the VRC Derby in the Spring so he is a stayer of some promise. Hard to beat over the extra furlong today. D'ORO CHOICE (4) was taken to the lead in a new role last time out and put a panel on his rivals over this distance at Coonamble. Donned winkers that day which may also have been a factor. Carries a similar weight here so he is hard to knock. MRS BULL (13) had chalked-up 13 minor placings before grabbing a well-deserved win recently over 1310m at Orange. Has placed five times at this journey so that holds no fears. Capable of mixing it with these now that the penny has dropped. A SILVERY WARRIOR (2) can bounce back.

RACE 7 - RAMONES (1) has raced three times this prep under new trainer Simon Casey and has the foot on the till. Gave a sight last time under a big weight but was swamped late and just missed the placings over 1100m at Scone. Only try at this trip was in town so inconclusive. Very fit and ready to peak. VAQUERO (16) ran a terrific race at odds in open company last time out, battling on bravely to be beaten just a length over 1610m at Orange. Nicely weighted and he gets his chance to break a three-year win drought. HIT THE RIM (2) found 1150m at the Beaumont track far too slick for him last start in a run worth forgetting. Races well here and back to a more suitable journey he comes under notice. DON'TCHA THINK (4) has placed 2/2 this time in work and looks ready for his first try at today's journey.
