RACE 1 - SHALAA'S MOMENT (9) was impressive first up last start when she scored by 4.2 lengths over 800m at Ipswich. This is stronger but she has upside so could take the next step. ORLABENT (13) was a beaten favourite last start but had looked close to a win with close seconds at the previous two starts so is worth another chance. DEVASTATING (2) was consistent last time in work and a solid trial suggests he has come back in good order. He can make an impact first up. XTRA GEAR (11) has won a trial since a fresh placing in Sydney so can progress and measure up.

RACE 2 - BOOMTOWN BOSS (9) is a son of Spirit of Boom on debut for the strong Gollan/Orman combination. Won a trial and draws well. Will be ready to fire first up. RUN LUCY RUN (14) was prominent from the outset on debut, holding on well for second at Doomben. Has improvement to come so another good run is anticipated. GIN A TONIC (1) led and proved too speedy on debut last start, scoring with half a length to spare at Doomben. Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Can be in the finish again. ITALIAN RIVIERA (2) was successful as favourite on debut over 1000m at Sunshine Coast Poly. Tougher here but could progress.

RACE 3 - MASCARET (11) continued the encouraging form and wasn't far away last time when she ran on for third over 1650m at Doomben. She is suited stepping up to a distance she has won at before. One of the big hopes in the race. SACRED FEELING (12) ran on to be beaten 1.2L when resuming then again chased well for second last time out over 1660m at Doomben. Won her lone attempts at the track and the trip and is proven third up so can peak. THESECONDATPORTSEA (7) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back wins then ran on strongly last start so suspect she is looking for this journey now. KOKONOTSU (2) has won two of three attempts at this journey so expect him to show more with a couple of runs under the belt. KERKORIAN (1) is racing well so must be respected.

RACE 4 - PRINCESS TENKO (7) made progress when second up last start to fight on strongly and miss by just a head as runner up over 1200m at this track. With more improvement likely she could go one better. PATTON (1) has produced two nice efforts since a win at Doomben, last start beaten 0.7L when runner up over 1350m at Doomben. Maloney sticks and he is one of the chief contenders. EN POINTE (6) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 1.3 lengths last time over 1200m at Doomben. Is going well with two wins and a minor placings from his last three starts. Player again. BOWRIDER (3) deserves respect off a last-start win.

RACE 5 - BRAVE MASO (19) will strip fitter for this after finishing less than 2 lengths from the winner when resuming. She steps up in trip and usually races well second-up. Draws for a soft run so makes each way appeal. FIXATED (22) hit the line well and finished 1.2 lengths away when resuming over 1200m at this track. Fitter and is suited stepping up in journey today. GOLDEELUCK (6) was a big improver in posting a second-up win at Toowoomba. Races well at this longer distance so could go on with it. DENIED (20) won over this distance last start and should be better again third up.

RACE 6 - FLAG HALL (3) is a progressive gelding yet to miss a place. Led and kicked away for an easy fresh win at Ipswich and has been kept up to the mark with a trial. Up to a distance where he won his lone attempt so could deliver again. HEARTONI (1) is hard to knock having made it back-to-back wins by scoring over 1000m here last time. EXOTIQUE MISS (7) went to the paddock off a win here in January. Proven fresh and has upside so can make impact. MISHANI ROYALE (4) has been coming from wide barriers so the inside draw could see her play a major role.

RACE 7 - STARRY EYES (5) placed here fresh before finishing only 0.4L from the winner last start. Steps up to a distance where he strikes at 50 per cent and is drawn to enjoy the favours. He is proven third up so can peak. OCEAN ZAR (14) was pulled up when well fancied last start but has won the other two times she attempted this course and distance. Draws wide but her best is good enough to win this. JUPITUS (7) switches from Melbourne and has been freshened but won his lone attempt at this journey. Can measure up. The unbeaten MAJESTIC BOOM (19) faces a tougher test but has done nothing wrong.

RACE 8 - RED TOP (13) put the writing on the wall when third two runs back at Doomben then improved last time out to score by a head over a similar trip to this at Gold Coast. That was his second success from three attempts at this distance range. Big chance to score again. SOLAR APEX (12) hasn't missed the top four this time in, last start chasing well when dropping back to 1400m. He is race fit now and could be looking for this journey. DARK DREAM (2) showed improvement second-up when third over 1600m at this track. Won the only other time he raced here. Can progress further. WAIRERE FALLS (10) and SEAT OF POWER (1) both look to be returning to form having placed in their latest outings.

RACE 9 - IVERSON (15) has returned in good order. Ran on for a fresh win at Doomben then didn't do a bad job to finish 0.7 lengths away in second last start over 1400m at this track. Race fit and ready for the step up to the mile. ELLA TE AMA (14) sat on pace last time out and kicked away to score by 2.4 lengths as favourite over 1690m at Ipswich. Drawn for a soft run so could go on with it. BROOKHAVEN (4) was a big improver second-up when he ran on to score over 1400m at this track. The longer trip should suit him. THE DROVER (3) deserves respect after finding winning form here last time out.

RACE 10 - BUBBA'S BAY (1) lines up for the hat-trick after registering a determined win last time over 1200m at this track, scoring by a head. Building a good record here and is four from six at the distance. In form and can deliver again. OUTLAWED (9) has been close to the placings in both runs since a break, the latest a 1.6L fifth to Bubba's Bay. Drawn for a soft run and races well third up so can peak. TOJAKI (15) was warming up nicely when a resuming fourth to Bubba's Bay. Draws wide but won her only previous second-up attempt so improvement is likely. MILLANE (5) is racing well at this course and distance, finishing close up in both runs since a fresh win. Contender. SIR WARWICK (6) was a big improver when edged out here last start and should get the favours from this draw.
