RACE 1 - DOUBLE SNIP (2) is resuming from a spell and would have strengthened up since his first prep in the spring where he didn't really fire. He has looked better at the trials and is capable of knocking this off fresh up. The markets will be your best guide here. OLIVIA'SMEMUMMA (8) ran the race of an improver when running fourth at long odds last time out at Pinjarra. The extra furlong is ideal and with a drop back to country class, she can take this out. KEVROSS (3) showed some promise in his earlier trials and gets the blinkers on for his debut. He has fewer convictions than most and is sure to have his admirers in the markets. HOTLIPS LILL (9) might never win a race and was a fair second here 4 weeks ago. A repeat of that effort has her in the finish here.
RACE 2 - SPEARFISH (10) put together a couple of decent efforts for third recently and found 1400 metres too far for him last time out. This field is not strong and she can bounce back into the money. DON'T TELL NAN (11) ran her best race yet in her first start in the country at Narrogin 11 days ago and she is poised to go one better in a suspect field here. MAKE MINE SUPER (8) runs the odd good race at this level and can lob a place if the breaks come her way. ABSOLUTE WEAPON (5) will strip fitter second up and won't have to improve by much to figure in the finish. Include in all combinations.
RACE 3 - ZENIQUE (1) has turned a corner recently and seems to be a lot stronger. He is having his first run over a middle distance and is likely to make the early running. Around this circuit, he will be very hard to peg back. WHO'D A THOUGHT IT (10) ran his best race and then went the run of an improver last time out at Narrogin, finishing fourth. He does not have to improve by much to find himself in the placings here. ZAMBEEZEE GOLD (6) enjoyed the country class opposition last time out when finishing runner-up here 4 weeks ago. She is still on the up with her fitness and can go one better. SPEAKING SWAHILI (5) was swamped late after leading up last time out Geraldton and had to settle for fifth. He is bred to relish a middle distance and can get a slice of the finish here.
RACE 4 - MONEY FOR OLD ROPE (3) has improved recently since being put up over ground and he has a very good record on this track, winning twice, a 2-kilo claim will help also. Hard to beat this time. MISS ANONYMITY (7) made her debut in the country at Narrogin last start and immediately hit winning form. As so often happens once the penny drops, she should go right on with the job. STRAWBERRY MIST (6) ran on late last start and is hoping to settle a touch closer to the pace early on with the blinkers back on for this assignment. This field lacks depth of form and she is capable of a top-three finish. LA CARTIER (5) has been battling for form and ran her best race this prep last time out at Belmont. She will find things easier in the country and should not be underestimated on an each-way basis.
RACE 5 - PRETTY DEVINE (3) is heading the right way and battled on strongly for fourth at Narrogin last time out. She has not won for some time but she also won't meet many easier fields than this either. On top this time. DIGITAL MISS (4) finished a close-up fourth here when resuming and then just plugged away at Pinjarra-Scarpside for seventh 8 days ago. She is in the right race third up and can figure in the finish. Each way. TRISUEM (1) is normally competitive at this level and won't mind the drop back to a sprint trip for her peak run. A 3-kilo claim will help and she is worth including in all combinations. ALTOMEGA (5) led all of the way at Pingrup 9 days ago and could be hard to peg back again if he finds the front early on around this circuit.
RACE 6 - BIGDAYONIT (1) has been in good form in far stronger fields lately and is here to qualify for a country championship final. His top weight is reduced by a handy 3 kilo claim and he has also won on the course in the past. Hard to beat with some luck in the run. BARTIME (6) won here 2 starts back at long odds and his other 3 runs have been in stronger fields this prep. He is at his right level now and can make an immediate return to the winners' circle here. ONEMOREFORLEO (8) normally needs a run before showing his best but he has had a couple of trials to help prepare for his return this time. He has a good draw and is nicely weighted, so could be one to spice up your combinations. TROPICAL SUN (10) did see out the mile last time out at Albany and is better placed over a sprint trip here. The winkers are on for the first time and she can get a slice of the finish.
RACE 7 - MAKE YOUR POINT (9) was forced to work too hard last time out and faded out of it down the home stretch at Albany just over 3 weeks ago. He is better than that and has the winkers on for the first time. He also drops 3.5 kilos in weight thanks to a claim and a form reversal is expected. MY BABY BLUE JEAN (4) is racing her way into full fitness and will find this easier than her last 3 starts which have all resulted in fourth-placed finishes. She has a good gate and should go close to taking this out. TRIGGER FINGER (15) led all of the way here fresh up to win his maiden that was a long time coming. Now that the penny has dropped, he can go right on with the job. HERE NO CASH (3) won by a nose at Narrogin 3 starts back in a field similar to what he meets here. A wide draw is no help but with some early luck, he can bounce back into the placings.
RACE 8 - LUCKY HEART (1) dropped right down in class at Narrogin 11 days ago and took them all of the way, scoring by nearly 3 lengths. He won't find this much harder and with a furlong less to travel he can repeat the dose. Stick with him. FLOAT OUR BOAT (5) is usually competitive at this level and tried hard for second at Pingrup when forcing the pace there 9 days ago. A wide draw here is no help but he is fit and this field is not strong. Include in all combinations. DELTA ANNE (12) has turned a corner with her form lately and will be rock hard fit after finishing runner-up at Narrogin 11 days ago. She has 2 kilos less to carry this time and can go one better. ABBOU (4) did not handle the Pingrup circuit last
