The carnival at Warrnambool continues on Thursday with a ten-race card, featuring Listed action in the $300,000 Warrnambool Cup over 2350m.

Noir looks good for Cup glory
The previously mentioned Warrnambool Cup is due off as the penultimate race at Warrnambool with a field of 20 declared for the feature.
Annabel Neasham's Little Mix is expected to have her supporters, having demonstrated good form without winning in five starts this prep.
The five-year-old registered two good fourth-place finishes when racing at Group 3 level at Rosehill in March.
The second of those efforts came when contesting the 2000m James Squire Neville Sellwood Stakes at the end of that month.
The mare raced on a good 4 track that day and performed well when switched to a wet track for a 2400m Listed contest at Mornington subsequently.
The daughter of Mahisara was beaten less than one-and-a-half-lengths in that Listed contest, the Mornington Cup, and rates highly in this field.
Veteran gelding CADRE DU NOIR is the pick here, however, having recorded a couple of good efforts in Group company following a couple of disappointing hurdles efforts.
The first of his runs this prep saw him beaten two-and-a-half-lengths into seventh in the 14-runner Group 2 Blarney Stakes at Flemington at the start of March.
The 5.50 selection raced over an inadequate 1600m on that occasion and finished one place better in the previously mentioned Group 3 James Squire Neville Sellwood Stakes latest.
The eight-year-old has won on three of his five starts at this distance, finishing runner-up in the other two, and with John Allen up he is taken to overcome a wide alley to salute.
George to complete a double
Away from The Bool, the sixth race on the Wyong card is a 1350m Benchmark 58 handicap.
Dimaggio has been out of form in the main this year, but he registered his first top-three finish since August last year when runner-up over 1400m at Hawkesbury last time out.
The gelding contested a Benchmark 64 handicap held on a soft 6 that day and, having raced from the front that day, has a good barrier three from the rail.
Kim Waugh's charge registered a creditable effort over this distance when fourth at Rosehill in February, however, BIG BOY GEORGE is selected to get the better of him here.
The three-year-old broke his maiden when contesting a 1300m maiden at Hawkesbury in September.
The 7.00 pick was spelled following a fifth of six on the Kensington track at Randwick three starts later and he returned with a fair fifth over 1100m back at Hawkesbury in March.
The distance was on the sharp side for the son of Showtime that day and he took a step forward stepped up to 1200m for Newcastle Class 1 subsequently.
Clare Lever's gelding overcame a wide barrier to salute on good going on that occasion and he is taken to do similar with Lee Magorrian, on board that day, again set to ride.
Asgarda set for Wagga success
The Tooheys 2024 Wagga Town Plate over 1200m is the seventh race on Wagga's eight-race card.
Trainer Doug Gorrel sends out ASGARDA here, with the filly arriving in good form, having won two of her four starts this prep.
The two defeats both came at Albury, including when third in an 1175m contest on good going there in March.
The 6.00 filly returned to winning ways when springing a $26 surprise in delivering a victory by over a length in the Country Championships Final at Randwick last time.
The daughter of The Brothers War saw off 15 rivals when jumping from barrier six, racing on a wet track that day.
Regular pilot Kayla Nisbet is again in the saddle here and, with a good barrier in four, the pair look up to teaming up for their fifth win of the season.
