Hamilton: Race 2, No.6 - STAR COMPASS
First-up today, has trialled well enough to win this. Comes out of a reasonably strong Warrnambool maiden in April. Been supported at $2.60.

Musswelbrook: Race 2, No.12 - PINOT NERO
I Brownbooked this after last start. Got back to last, weaved through for a fast-finishing 3rd over 1300m at Scone. Step up in trip is perfect. Senior jockey Grant Buckley sticks.

Corowa: Race 3, No.12 - JUSTENUFFSPLASH
Was supported on debut and didn't go a yard on a heavy track. Backed again, onto a soft and from a good draw should get run of the race and every chance. $2.60.

Sam Hyland

Hamilton: Race 4, No.3 - ZEAMAIZE
Is in a deadset billy goat maiden here. He is drawn to get a sweet run & only has to run up to his last two runs & he can be winning here. He has race experience in his side & ticks a few boxes.

Muswellbrook: Race 3, No.3 - GREEN RUN
Has been pretty honest throughout this preparation & I think the 1700m suits well. Gate 1 will see him have a perfect run & can win.

Corowa: Race 7, No.3 - LACK OF RESTRAINT
Has been good to us before & is great value here, this is easier than Bendigo last time & has the claim, crazy price. Can win if it gets a good ride.
