The father/daughter combination from Cranbourne are in their 6th season as an official training partnership and they are enjoying their best season yet. Her Diamond Rock's impressive win at Caulfield on December 3 lifted the pair into the Top Ten on the Melbourne Trainers' Premiership while their 16th position on the overall Victorian Premiership is the first time they've got into the Top 20 since they joined forces.
Winners this season: 18 (7 in Melbourne)
Premiership position: 16th overall (9th in Melbourne)
Strike/rate: 15.8% (up from 12.3 per cent last season)
Perfect partners: Jockey Danny Adam has formed a lethal partnership with the Aldersons in the past 12 months, riding 14 winners from 45 mounts at the exceptional strike/rate of 31 per cent, and many of them have been at excellent each-way odds. Ben Melham and Peter Mertens are other jockeys riding the wave of success with the Cranbourne training partners.
