Robert Smerdon chalked up his 100th Victorian winner for the season when Stoneblack scored a comfortable win at Sandown on Wednesday and the leading trainer was quick to praise the work of Aquanita staff. Smerdon became the fourth trainer to win 100 races in Victoria this season, joining fellow Caulfield colleagues Peter Moody and Mick Price as well as Ballarat conditioner Darren Weir. Meanwhile, stable star Mosheen is expected to return to the races in mid August. "She is coming along really well", Smerdon said. "She's been back in the system for sometime now, looks good, done well and she'll probably go to the Cranbourne trials in a few weeks with a view to kick off in August."
