Sale Race 3 - The Mansman

Big win from this gelding who was resuming over a distance far short of his best, getting back to near last having drawn barrier 14/14 yet running on powerfully to get up on the line. He got out to 2000m last time in and the son of Almanzor will relish getting over more ground. He had the SP profile of a decent horse last time in and can progress through the grades with the right placement this time in.

Randwick Kensington Race 6 - Tanglewood

Really liked the first-up win of who is building a handy record, relishing a strong tempo set here over the 1000m and slicing through the field to score. There was a nice gap back to third and the 1000m probably isn't his ideal trip. His highway handicap form is very strong having run second to the progressive Clear Thinking before a spell, who was one of the favourites for The Kosciuszko prior to an injury. Only a midweek race here but the stable would like their chances of getting a slot in that race.
