The Gai Waterhouse trained Pierro has made two G1 wins on end with a dominant victory in the Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday. The Lonhro colt, now five wins from five starts, took his prizemoney past $2.6 million when he comfortably defeated the previously unbeaten All Too Hard and Limes in the 1400m feature. Waterhouse was full of praise for her colt, who posted a time of 1.21.47 for the 1400m journey, eclipsing Luskin Star's race record set in 1977.
