RACE 1 - Some key scratchings here but still a decent maiden. JELLICIOUS (10) was in the market and beat all but the promising Clean Energy at her only run to date back in May over 1000m at Warwick Farm. Trialling well and only needs to make a little natural progression to go one better. Royally-bred ETON (1) makes her debut for Waterhouse/Bott. By I Am Invincible from the dual Group One winner English. Trialling in good style so it will be no surprise to see her exhibit some of the family talent here. Waller-trained AMELITA (7) returns from a 19-week spell. Didn't get going in the two runs of her maiden prep, most recently finishing midfield over 1000m at Warwick Farm. Trialling in great style so might go to a new level this time in work. Stablemate ZOYSIA (6) is a Zoustar colt on debut. Two recent trials should have him forward enough to run well. Hard to make a case for the other three runners.

RACE 2 - Another decent midweek maiden. Waller has a strong hand, headed by MERGEILA (6) who has not raced since finishing a close third to the smart Mayfair over 1200m at Rosehill on 20 July. Trialled since and McDonald takes over. Must go on top. EXCELINDEED (1) looks the big threat. Started at $1.25 but had every chance and found one better when resuming over 1200m at Wyong 17 days ago. Placed twice in town last prep and can improve on the first-up run with blinkers going on for the first time. INDECISIVE (12) worked home well without threatening last time out in a 1200m Newcastle maiden. Very fit now and makes each-way appeal with the light weight. ESPINHO (3) resumes. Has raced just twice, both times at stakes level, and finished midfield on each occasion. Chance coming back in grade. The only other realistic hope is NORTHERN EAGLE (4) on debut for Ryan/Alexiou - his trials have been impressive.

RACE 3 - The flying DEPRIVATION (1) bolted in first-up at Newcastle then booted away and looked set to make it two-for-two for the prep but was collared on the line over 1300m at Warwick Farm a fortnight ago. Sure to give a tremendous sight again. JACENZA (6) has been just fair in two runs this time in work. The winner of 2/3 at this stage of the prep so with a bit of weight relief today he comes into calculations. NEED SOME LUCK (3) is a lightly raced half-brother to Chautauqua back from a brief spell and has been gelded. Always shown ability and the recent procedure might take him to the next level. EDITED BY (4) impressed at Wyong last start so count him in despite the class rise. GUNDY GUY (5) was a brave winner under a big weight at Wagga last time. Cannot be ruled out.

RACE 4 - Most of these are realistic winning chances. MALABAR (9) has been beaten under a length at his last three runs, the latest when a closing fourth in a busy finish over 1600m at Warwick Farm. Placed 2/3 at today's journey so the step up in trip has come at the perfect time. COUNTY KILKENNY (4) comes here off a five-week let-up. A model of consistency of late, including a narrow last-start win over 1800m on the Kensington track. A recent trial should have him up to the mark following the short break. UNLIMITED (2) was in the money two back at Randwick them pulled up with a respiratory issue last time in a forget run. Serious contender dropping back to midweek grade. GREEN BELT (6) has been just fair in two runs this prep over shorter trips. On trial at the distance but is bred to handle it. LINE OF FIRE (3) recorded a game win last time out at Wyong and should cope with the extra journey.

RACE 5 - The beautifully bred JUST GLAMOUROUS (9) returned from a 19-month break with a gutsy win at Newcastle then went close to repeating the dose over 1300m at Warwick Farm last start. Keen to see her out to the mile as mum won the Flight Stks and Thousand Guineas. Will roll along and take some catching on the limit. LITTLE JEANIE (6) did her best work late to get up for third when fresh from a spell over 1300m at Warwick Farm a fortnight back. Peak rating last prep was over this distance. Serious threat. COLOUR SERGEANT (2) has struggled in two runs since coming back from Melbourne, both over the Randwick mile. Could be a surprise packet back at the midweekers. SWEYSIVE (4) relished the step up in distance last time when runner-up over 1550m here. Very fit now and can win with the help of an inside draw. The lightly raced SEAFALL (8) was just fair when resuming but is more at home over this trip so can improve sharply.

RACE 6 - BOSTON ROCKS (4) has raced on the speed and battled on well to finish in or about the placings at his four runs this prep, all in Saturday company. Drawn to enjoy a perfect run and back in this grade he looks poised to grab a well-deserved win. MAFIA (2) worked hard to find the lead after an ordinary jump then the effort told late over 1000m at Warwick Farm last time out. Star provincial performer but has struggled in town consistently. This looks a nice race, so he is worth another chance. FIRE STAR (8) settled midfield and couldn't improve last Wednesday over 1000m at the Kensington track. Very fit now and the extra 100m suits. Capable of taking this out. RAVENCLAW (7) is fresh from a five-month spell. Generally needs a run before he hits his straps - the engagement of McDonald is the reason he must come under notice. EYE PEA OH (9) hasn't won for 11 months but is finding the line well in similar races and is worth each-way consideration.

RACE 7 - SEASCAPE (6) began awkwardly but soon recovered then proved a shade too good last start over 1200m here. Stepping up in grade but drops 2.5kgs and can improve further at the third run back. The one to beat again. COUNTYOURBLESSINGS (1) could not have been more impressive when she resumed with a barnstorming win against mares over this course and distance three weeks ago. A smart claim helps. Expect her to hold the form. Honest mare ALVINA'S LUCK (7) closed well but was no match for Countyourblessings here at this trip recently. In the money 6/8 at this distance. Has the job ahead to turn the tables but is always thereabouts. KILLCARE BEACHGIRL (10) is a promising filly back from a five-month break. Won on debut then not disgraced in a stakes race behind Broadsiding at her only other appearance. Big watch with blinkers on this prep. Distance specialist THERE THERE (4) scrambled home at Warwick Farm last start and is in the mix again.
