RACE 1 - PRINCE OF ARENDELL (5) switched from the Snowden yard and was quickly back on track beaten a long neck at Wagga over this distance. He's capable of using the inside gate and Cahill staying aboard is a decent push for his chances. He's been kept on the fresh wide and rates to win. STURTY (7) has been disappointing 2x since the Maiden win but he was undone by a wide gate at Goulburn last time. He will finally race on a dry surface today and that will suit. The red-hot Heywood is a key jockey booking and he'll give him every chance from the soft draw. PRINCE PAPA (6) found a good track and spiked his figures when beaten a whisker at Moruya. He's a chance but an outside barrier needs managing. KENSEYE CHARMER (2) went well at Wagga but the barrier cruelled at Moruya following over this distance. He will be around the mark with average luck in the run.

RACE 2 - MY LAST HOORAY (3) resumes for the local Frank Cleary yard and went close in stronger at Canberra before the spell. He's won a recent trial there and Billy Owen stays aboard. He has an awkward gate but should prove too good regardless. MUST BE MAGIC (4) resumes for a new yard and showed enough early doors to suggest she's a chance if presented in good order. Martin is a positive jockey booking. PRAIRIE LEGEND (9) has raced in Queensland and Victoria and will be better for the two Canberra poly outings for the new barn. His form early form would have him in the finish. MISS KARIS (7) resumes and owns a Wyong trial win. Maps well and the betting will be key.

RACE 3 - SHELLY'S ACE (6) has been racing in better grade and went close at the Sapphire Coast before finding a place on the Canberra Acton poly track. Peaks today and Cahill sticking aboard is a positive. She races forward and will be suited around here. MOOSHAKA (2) just missed at Dubbo finding more like her best. She can secure a soft run from the inside barrier and the 1.5kg claim is handy. In the top local stable and gets her chance. KISS THE COLOURS (5) is a leader who's also in good local hands. She spaced a CL3 field here over 900m and then came back and succumbed late over 1000m. She's been freshened and has a handy 4kg claim. She's also a chance. VAINSTREAM (3) maps well and will find this easier. The veteran would be in the finish at best.

RACE 4 - SNIPPETY STAR (2) races forward and brings strong form to resumption. She maps well and has placed 2/2 fresh. A stable favourite rides and she is the one to beat. MISS BELGIUM (5) was slow off in stronger on the Canberra poly and better to assess her chances on the Gundagai placing prior. She draws wide but has the ability and the dry track is likely to suit. I'M BRAZILIAN (7) is down from Wyong and is going well enough to be considered in this lineup. Maps well and has weight relief. LITVYAK (10) is fast and won her Maiden here over this distance. Cahill is a key jockey booking and she can skip across and ride the speed. Keep safe at a price.

RACE 5 - DRESSEL (4) is a local busting to win. He was cruelled by a wide gate last time but his efforts at Wagga and on the poly prior stack right up. A leading course striker rides and the speed-bred gelding rates to take beating. LOST YA SOCK (11) peaks and rate her chances on the 1.6L defeat at Wagga two starts back over this distance. She maps well and has claims. JUKEBOX MONEY (5) was beaten 1.5L at Moruya over this distance finding more like his best. He will improve off that but an outside barrier needs managing. DASHING POWER (3) tries hard and was beaten less than two lengths at Moruya last time over this distance. He goes into the trifectas at least.

RACE 6 - SOOBOOGELISCIOUS (6) resumed with a comfortable win this grade at Dubbo and three winners have come out of that. The longer sprint suits and she maps for the run of the race. She is 2/2 this course and distance and it's hard to risk the local Nick Olive barn. HURRICANE CONI (5) resumes for the local Joe Cleary yard. He has pieces of form that would see him very competitive. Has the rail and the red-hot Heywood aboard. The late betting will be key. I'M NOT LEAVING (4) is another local worth consideration. He impressed early doors and should be ready to show more. ALMOST PERSUADED (3) has been threatening a win in stronger class. Keeps the handy 3kg claim and they've scratched the stablemate who would have been fancied.

RACE 7 - Canberra-trained MISS GHENT (1) resumes and brings decent form from stronger races. She's proven fresh and has had a soft trial. She has the outside gate but the blinkers are on again. Day rides and she goes well here. TAVOLO (3) resumes and has also won fresh. She's building a nice record and maps for a soft run. Winning rider Budler is reunited. A live chance. PRETTY VEGAS (2) resumes for the local stable and didn't come up last preparation. She races well at home and fresh. Maps for the run of the race and is a winning chance at best. ALL ASTERN (6) found more like her best just missing at Dubbo. She's also good enough and respect the barn.
