RACE 1 - SONGAA (3) resumed with an impressive win over this course and distance 21 days ago, running over the top to win by 0.8L. He loves this course and distance and Watson has won twice when partnering previously. The form has been franked since and he can make it back-to-back wins. MADE IN MEXICO (5) steps up into Saturday grade following a strong all-the-way win over this course and distance in Midweek company. Pike remains in the saddle and he's drawn to find the front again. Suspect we haven't gotten to the bottom of him yet and he can fire again third-up into the campaign. BONNIE LAD (2) got the job done in a photo finish over this track and trip last week. He should get a similar run to last start and if he can run up to what he produced last start he's bound to go close again. UNDER INFLUENCE (6) just missed behind Bonnie Lad last start and has to be included on recent performances.

RACE 2 - SUPERNATURAL (7) finished 1.8L off a smart winner on debut here a fortnight ago and now gets Pike in the saddle. She was slowly away last start, but it wouldn't surprise to see her well back from the wide draw once again. She'll be better for that experience and can storm over the top of them late. GOLD MAKER (1) hit the line locked together with Supernatural last start but draws a wide barrier on this occasion. He held his own in Listed races throughout his debut campaign and has shown glimpses of ability throughout his career thus far. Watch for him down the outside. NICELY PLAYED (9) comes in off just one trial but did show enough there. Worth including. SOLDIER OF GOD (4) went back to the trials just two days ago and won. Blinkers on now and is worth thought.

RACE 3 - SENSESSIONAL (5) brought up the hat-trick with a narrow victory over this course and distance last time out, coming home strongly from near the tail. Pike remains in the saddle and he draws a much better gate this time around. This is tougher, but his ratings say he's up to the task and he can continue his winning streak. FALCON TRADER (1) ended up 1.3L off the winner in a stronger race last time out following a win here two back. He's likely to put himself up on the speed which is a big tick and while he does rise in weight, his recent form is hard to knock. Should go close. WANGO AWARD (8) just missed in easier company last start when beaten 0.8L over this track and trip. CJP now hops back in the saddle and he has options from the draw. Expecting her to be right in the finish. GINGER GREEN (2) beat home Wango Award last start but does meet her worse at the weights today. In winning form though. MOUNTAIN ASH (4) can improve on what he showed first-up.

RACE 4 - SPECIAL SORT (1) kept on well at Pinjarra (S) last star following a solid effort over this track and trip two back. He now gets Pike in the saddle from the inside draw and he rates highly on his most recent efforts. Will take some beating if he runs to form. MACCIATEAU (8) has only been fair in two runs back this time in but should be hitting his peak now third-up into the campaign. The wide draw doesn't hurt as he tends to get back anyway and he is a course and distance winner previously. Live chance with improvement expected. KING CARTEL (3) got the job done when leading throughout here over 1400m in midweek grade. He was close in Open 3YO company the start prior. Racing well this campaign and has to be respected. SUPER ROMANI (2) disappointed last start after a good win. Won't be far away.

RACE 5 - RUSSIAN SNIPER (1) was far too good for his rivals over 1000m last start, getting away to win by 2.1L. Pike remains in the saddle and he's never missed the placings when partnering this gelding. He's building a great record this time in work and he's expected to repeat the dose. HOSTILE TALK (5) ran home strongly over this course and distance last time out, beaten 1.7L a fortnight ago. He's likely to end up back in the run once again, though he is lightly raced with plenty of upside. Wouldn't surprise to see him mowing them down late in the race. ULTIMATE COMMAND (2) resumed in good order behind Russian Sniper when sticking on well to finish second, beaten 2.1L. She boasts a strong second-up record, winning 3/6 and Campbell's 1.5kg claim comes in handy. Live chance. SALT LAKE SHAKE (8) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back third-up. ARNIE'S BOY (4) can improve on a couple of disappointing efforts of late.

RACE 6 - MANZOR MAGIC (3) stuck on well in the Belmont Classic at Listed level when only 3.8L off the winner. The inside draw will see him get every chance and he drops right back in grade today. Clearly the one to beat off that last start, he just needs to run to that level again. QUEEN OF JERUSALEM (1) has won 3 of her last 4 and did so in impressive fashion in midweek company last start, running away to win by 1.9L. The extra 100m isn't an issue and CJP knows the mare well. The soggy track is no issue and she's sure to go close once again. TALLANGATTA (6) looked to be in good touch earlier this campaign but has struggled in his past couple. He now gets Chris Parnham replacing the apprentice hoop and he's sure to make his own luck up on the speed. Best form is good enough, he just needs to reproduce it. ROYAL ELITE (12) can go on with the job following a good win last start. FLASH PADDY (5) steps out in trip again and won't be far away.

RACE 7 - NO BRAINER (6) has made an immediate impact, going undefeated through his first two starts and showing plenty of class in doing so. Now into Saturday grade, but he's right up to this level of race based on his latest rating and further improvement is expected. Can bring up the hat-trick. LITTLE SILVER (2) is another looking for the hat-trick after a 1.5L victory last time out. He does rise in weight, but this is an easier race to his latest win. He has the speed to offset the wide alley and he's sure to make his presence felt. DEFERRED (7) is also looking for her third win in a row, winning at the midweeks in good time most recently. She still has plenty of upside being lightly raced and while the wide draw is a niggle, she's run on strongly from the back previously. Can go close to winning again. STARRING KNIGHT (3) is better than he showed last time out when beaten by Little Silver. Can bounce back. BIRD'S THE WORD (1) is usually thereabouts and is worth including.

RACE 8 - The feature of the day and it's hard to go past BOOTS LIKE BRUCE (5) who bolted in last time out in the H.G. Bolton. He ran away to win by 3.3L and while he rises in weight, it's hard to see anything turning the tables on that effort. Carbery sticks and he's clearly the one to beat. SALOON BAR (6) usually improves with a run under the belt, but he turned in a strong effort on resumption when 3.4L off the winner. He draws a little better this time around and if he improves as anticipated, he'll be right up for the fight. MAN CRUSH (3) has been superb this time in, finishing just ahead of Saloon Bar last start in the H.G. Bolton and he draws a better gate this time around. Visors replace the blinkers and he's likely to be right in the finish once more. RED FIFTY THREE (8) closed off soundly first-up when favourite in the Bolton. Pike sticks and he's in with a chance again. MINSK MOMENT (1) trialled well coming in but hasn't lived up to those efforts just yet. Giving him another chance.

RACE 9 - BRAVE STRIKE (8) resumed from a freshen with a good effort here a fortnight ago, running on late to finish third, beaten 2.3L. The run suggested the extra trip she gets today will suit and she'll be handy enough from a good alley. Has class and can put that on display today. ICE PICK NICK (2) has been close his past couple, just missing behind a smart one last start over this course and distance 21 days ago. He maps for a lovely run and if he can run up to what he did last time out, he'll go close. UNIVERSAL FLAIR (11) is better than she showed last time out and can turn it around on the quick backup. BAYEZID (4) is usually around the finish and is worth including.
